Issues with Rendezvous Memory Server

I am using CafeTran for a university translation project. However, we are having real problems with creating a centralised termbase/TM on CafeTran. The issue seems to be the Rendezvous Server and the fact that we cannot connect to each others' IP addresses. When we attempt to 'Connect to memory server' an error message appears which states 'unable to connect to IP address'. How can we resolve this issue?

I think you need to be in the same LAN (local) network to use this feature.

If you are, there might be a network restriction on the port used by the RendezVous server.

If so, maybe you better contact your network administrator first.
