Can I set "input models" for new terms on a server-based project?

Hello.
I want to set an input model for new terms on a local TB, just like on SDL Multiterm. The thing is I can't modify the project settings as I work a lot on server-based projects.
Is there a way to set it up like with input models? The idea is to add terms with these fields quickly on the go.
Thanks.
Claudia
