Voice over rates

I have been asked to specify my rates per word for voice over recording. As far as I thought, these are normally calculated as per minutes / hours. Does anyone have an idea about standard rates per word?

Rates for voiceover jobs can be calculated both per recorded time (seconds/minutes) and words.
