Translation - English Isaias is no different from Robert Mugabe, so are the Eritrean People's Democratic Party and ZANUPF. When veteran freedom fighters of Zimbabwe called for Mugabe to step down, what held back Eritrean veteran freedom fighters from calling for Esaias to stand down.
In the wake of independence, when Isaias ridiculed the leaders of Africa as a ''bunch of monkeys", the freedom fighters, who sacrificed their precious and young lives for their beloved country and are in custody, stood down, and were rushed to their deaths out of deep-rooted grievances and buried in Asmara's Martyr's grave, applauded him and laughed at his mockery. Now that Isaias' Party has turned on them and even Mugabe is no match for him and is compared to the leader of North Korea as Africa's dictatorial leader, they should not think it is too late and surrender. It is the veteran freedom fighters of Eritrea, not of Zimbabwe, who should stand up and end the Isaias' regime. Isaias' dictatorship is ten times worse than Mugabe's, Eritrea's poverty is ten times worse than Zimbabwe's; they have myriads of reasons. There should not be a single reason that makes the freedom fighters of Eritrea to despair, when the 10-years-older freedom fighters of Zimbabwe have the courage.
