I am bilingual in Indonesian and English, I started studying Indonesian language and translation at university in 2010. The majority of my language learning career has been spent in Indonesia completing immersion courses and advanced level study. I have a passion for Indonesian culture, sub-culture, literature, food and travel and I spend a lot of time immersing myself in these interests. I currently live in Bali. I have a social science background focusing on international development, policy and government. Due to my university and research background I have a large local professional network including colleagues in government, non-government, law enforcement and academic institutions across the archipelago.

I also have excellent communication and leadership skills which saw me gain a position as Program Coordinator of a health and recovery retreat in Bali, December 2016. I am currently working as a professional freelance translator and have served agencies in Australia, Irian Jaya, and Indonesia.
