After graduating with a BA French and German (First Class Honours) in 2011, I worked as a freelance translator for over four years, then in-house for almost three, where I spent most of my time proofreading and reviewing translations by both in-house staff and freelancers. Back as a freelancer since March 2018, I’m enjoying the opportunities that freelance life offers for further enhancing and honing my skills and developing my own interests. I’m particularly focussed on pursuing literary translation opportunities. In addition to my degree, I hold the Diploma in Translation (DipTrans) for German into English from the Chartered Institute of Linguists (UK). I was a participant in the 2019 New Books in German Emerging Translators Programme. My translations never sound like translations – I produce stylish, attractive and accurate work that you and your clients will love. I look forward to working with you!
