Bio

Dear client, My name is Alexandra García Galván, I'm a 26-year-old translator and English teacher from Tijuana, Mexico with 5 years of experience in the translation field and 3 in education. I have a Bachelor's Degree and I'm currently studying for my Master's Degree in Writing Culture.

I'm a committed person and I'm always aiming to deliver my work on time and with high quality, as well as to have a good relationship with my clients by answering their questions and having feedback.

Warm regards.

GET TO KNOW ME:

I consider myself an agnostic that says "OMG" pretty often, I'm a bookworm! Every book that falls in my hands gets eaten. I'm a fan of fantasy (classic, urban, for children, for young adults you name it!), dystopic, science fiction, magical realism, and thriller books. I'm also an amateur writer, (you see, I've been trying to write a complete book since I was in high school and I just can't), and even that my writing isn't wonderful, I really enjoy doing it; that's why I decided to study Translation, because of my love to books.

My favorite authors are (in no particular order): J.K. Rowling, Sarah J. Maas, Oscar Wilde, George R.R. Martin, José Saramago, Simone de Beauvoir, Laura Esquivel, Suzanne Collins, Ray Bradbury, Stephen King, Marissa Meyer, Cassandra Clare, Jane Austen, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

I enjoy watching movies (and they match my favorite book genres) and TV shows, love to cook, to take photographs, and listen to music, you know, pretty normal stuff ;)
