English to Spanish: My Love For Video Games, Part Two
Source text - English What were the more interesting video games that you have played?, the kind of games that you can not stop playing, you can spend hours playing and you don’t get bored. Well, those are the kind of video games that I will talk here in the second part of this reading. I hope you like it.
Since I was about to finish my elementary school, I stopped hanging out with my friend who used to take me to play playstation 1. I don’t remember why, but I suppose it happened because I was starting to get bored of playing the same things. Because you know, at the beginning it might be very funny, but after a while, you can’t start to get bored, because it’s the same all days.
So, in that epoch started to appear very interesting computer video games, so I started to frequent a place where I could play those kind of new video games. In that place, I made new friends, with whom I used to play. I remember that the most popular computer video games were about 3. whose names were: gunbound, counter strike and mu. Some of my friends used to play just 1 of those games, others used to play just 2 of them, and others the 3 videogames.
So, every time that I wanted to play a certain video game with a team, I used to ask to everybody who wanted to play this game. Some of them used to tell me: sorry brother, I don’t play that game; others used to tell me: sorry bro, I can not play that game now, wait 30 minutes and we’ll see, and others used to say: okey, let’s play.
These 3 video games had their similarities, the first one which was gunbound you had to create you an account, where you had your own character, and you had to buy it clothes. You could have more than one set, and the purpose of these clothes were different, it used to depend on what you wanted. One set could help you to earn more money every time you won a battle, other sets could help you to increase your defense to diminish the damage that your opponent could cause you, other sets could help you to increase your attack in order to cause more damage to your opponent, other sets were used just to dress with a certain style to your character, to look good, elegant, etc. To sum up, there were a whole variety of purposes to use certain clothes. The people who have played it will know more about what I’m talking.
The purpose of the game was simply accumulate points called “gps” to reach to the highest level possible, and accumulate money to buy the clothes that you wanted to use. And you could do it entering to the different rooms that were available in order to have battles with other people, and winning the battles. And sometimes, even though you lost, you still could accumulate some money and “gps”.
The second one called counter strike was a game where you could play alone against the several characters created for the game, but it was much more fun and exciting to play in teams against opponents that weren’t created for the game, but characters used by your friends who were in the same place than you.
The game was about police officers and terrorist who had to kill themselves in different maps. And at the end of the game the winning team was the team that obviously had more victories. And to get a victory, in every round, one team had to kill to all of the contrary team. But, apart from that, there were always 2 winners, 1 winner in each team. And those were the people who had killed more people on the contrary team in each team.
Well, I would have liked to tell you about the third most popular video game that we used to play in that place, but that is something that I will tell you in the third part of this reading.

Desde que estaba a punto de terminar mi escuela primaria, deje de juntarme con mi amigo que solía llevarme a jugar playstation 1. No recuerdo porque, pero supongo que esto paso porque estaba empezando a aburrirme de jugar las mismas cosas. Porque tu sabes, al principio estos podían ser bien divertidos, pero después de un tiempo, puedes empezar a aburrirte, porque es lo mismo todos los días.
Así que, en esa época empezaron a aparecer juegos de computadora bien interesantes, así que empece a frecuentar un lugar donde podía jugar esos tipos de videojuegos. En ese lugar, hice nuevos amigos, con quienes solía jugar. Recuerdo que los juegos de computadora mas populares en ese tiempo eran alrededor de 3, cuyos nombres eran: gunbound, counter strike y mu. Algunos de mis amigos solían jugar solo 1 de esos juegos, otros solían jugar solo 2 de ellos, y otros los 3 videojuegos.
Así que, cada vez que quería jugar ciertos videojuegos con un equipo, solía preguntarle a todo el mundo quien quería jugar ese juego conmigo. Algunos de ellos solían decirme: Lo siento hermano, no juego ese juego; otros solían decirme: lo siento hermano, no puedo jugar ese juego ahora, espera 30 minutos y veremos; y otros solían decir: esta bien, vamos a jugar.
Estos 3 videojuegos tenían sus similaridades, el primero que era gunbound tenias que crearte una cuenta, donde tenias tu propio personaje, y tenias que comprarle cosas. Podías tener mas de un conjunto, y el propósito de estas ropas eran diferentes, solía depender de lo que querías conseguir. Un conjunto podía ayudarte para ganar mas dinero cada vez que ganabas una batalla, otros conjuntos podían ayudarte a incrementar tu defensa para disminuir el daño que tu oponente podía causarte, otros conjuntos podían ayudarte a incrementar tu ataque con el fin de causar mas daño a tu oponente, otros conjuntos eran usados solo para vestir con un cierto estilo a tu personaje, para que se vea bien, elegante, etc. Para resumir, había una gran variedad de propósitos para usar ciertas ropas. Las personas que han jugado esto sabrán mas acerca de lo que estoy hablando.
El propósito del juego era simplemente acumular puntos llamados “gps” para llegar al nivel mas alto posible, y acumular dinero para comprar las ropas que querías usar. Y tu podías hacer esto, entrando a las diferentes salas que estaban disponibles con el fin de tener batallas con otras personas, y ganando las batallas. Y a veces, a pesar de que perdías, aun podías acumular algo de dinero y “gps”.
El segundo juego llamado counter strike era un juego donde podías jugar solo en contra de varios personajes creados por el juego, pero era mucho mas divertido y emocionante jugar en equipos en contra de oponentes que no eran creados por el juego, sino personajes usados por tus amigos quienes estaban en el mismo lugar que tu.
El juego era acerca de oficiales de policía y terroristas quienes se tenían que matar entre ellos en diferentes mapas. Y al final del juego el equipo ganador era obviamente el equipo que tenia mas victorias. Y para conseguir una victoria, en cada ronda, un equipo tenia que matar a todos los del equipo contrario. Pero, aparte de eso, siempre habían 2 ganadores, 1 ganador en cada equipo. Y esas eran las personas que habían matado mas personas del equipo contrario en cada equipo.
Bien, me hubiera gustado contarte acerca del tercer videojuego mas popular que solíamos jugar en ese lugar, pero eso es algo que te contare en la tercera parte de esta lectura.

Source text - English Have you ever played a game that was so popular that you couldn’t find any computer to rent?. That is the consecuence of playing a game with a huge amount of people who play the same game than you in the same place. Here in this article I will talk about the third most popular video game that I used to play since I was 11 up to 14 years old and other newer video games that I used to play since I was 14 up to now. I hope you like it.
Well, I will continue talking about the third most popular video game that I used to play in that epoch, since my 11’s up to my 14’s. I’m not saying that this game was exactly the third most popular video game in that time in all the world, or in Peru, what I mean is that this game was one of the most popular video games that the people used to play in my zone, and when I mean third, it’s not that this game was the third in amount of players, I just say third because this game was the third one that I mentioned in the part 2, and I’m just following that order, just to clarify.
This third video game was called mu, I know it sounds very funny, sometimes when a friend of mine used to ask me: Miguel, what are you playing?, I used to say: I’m playing muuuuuuuuu! (as a cow) and we used to laugh. The interesting about this game was that there were several versions of this game, and every version had a different name like: mu magdalena, mu online, mu brad, mu argentina, etc. There were so many versions that I couldn’t finish to mention all of them, and I’m sure that I just knew a small percentage of versions, I’m sure that there were even more. And the interesting was that If you did get bored of one version you could play other version, which wasn’t exactly the same than the previous one, because even though all of them were following the same principles, in every version there were several things that were different, and that was what used to make tempting to play other version and other and so on.
The game basically consisted in that you had to create your own account, and in your account you could have up to 5 characters that you could be improving all of them at the same time, or maybe you could create just one character and just advance that, or 2, or 3, it was up to you. And once you entered to the game you basically what you had to do was to kill monsters of the city that you were, and then go to other city or world, and keep killing monsters which were stronger everytime, in order to level up until you reach to a certain level and then reset your character in order to become stronger every time. The more resets you had, the stronger you used to become, because for every level that you level up you had more points to add to your points of attack, defense, life or stamina.
And to reset was extremely necesary because once you reached a certain level you couldn’t level up anymore. For example, If I had a character that I had created in a certaing mu where the top level was 350, and this character starts with level 1, and after having killed lots of monster I finally reached to the level 350, I couldn’t keep leveling up, and in consequence I couldn’t have more points to increase my skills, so now you can imagine how necesary it was to reset my character in order to be able to level it up again.
Apart from killing monsters in order to level up to get more points to improve your skills, your other duty was to get better clothes every time for your character, the better the clothes, the better could be your points of attack, defense, stamina, life, etc. And with that, you could become stronger every time. And once you reached the limit of points that you could increase to your character and you had the better clothes that you could get, you could join to a clan in order to fight with other powerful characters. And that was the final purpose of this game, to win battles in order to your clan or group to become the most known.
Once you became the stronger tha you could become, you were prepared to join a clan to fight with others characters. That was at least what was recomendable if you wanted to be very competitive. But, even though you hadn’t reached to the limit, you still could join to a clan at any time, no matter if you were the weaker, or if you had created your account the same day. And that was what a lot of people used to do, to join a clan in order to get help, because once you were in a clan, people with higher level or more time in the game than you could give you away better clothes for you, or also they could help you to level up quicker, especially if you were a newbie in this game, because when you are new, to level up is a little bit difficult, but every time that you reset, it used to become easier to level up.
What was very funny was that in the place where I used to play that game we had a clan, and in that clan were all of my friends who also used to play that game. So for example, If I was in a battle with other clan, and I couldn’t win because the other members of the other clan were stronger, I could talk with one of my friends who was in the same place, but not playing the game, and tell him to support me. That was the beauty of the clan, the partnership of all the members. Sometimes we used to exchange clothes, or to lean certain things, or to help to level up to the other members, etc.
Well, I hope you liked this reading, and again, I would have liked to tell you about the other newer video games that I used to play since I was 14 up to now, but that will be something that I will tell you in the next part of this reading. I really can’t believe that this has become such an extensive reading.

Aquí en este articulo hablare acerca del tercer videojuego mas popular que solía jugar desde que tenia 11 hasta que tenia 14 años de edad y otros videojuegos mas recientes que solía jugar desde que tenia 14 hasta ahora. Espero que te guste.
Bien, continuare hablando acerca del tercer videojuego mas popular que solía jugar en esa época, desde mis 11 hasta mis 14. No estoy diciendo que este juego era exactamente el tercer videojuego mas popular que la gente solía jugar en mi zona, y cuando quiero decir tercero, no es que este juego era el tercero en cantidad de jugadores, solo digo tercero porque este juego era el tercero que mencione en la parte 2, y solo estoy siguiendo ese orden, solo para aclarar.
Este tercer videojuego era llamado mu, se que esto suena bien divertido, a veces cuando un amigo mio solía preguntarme: Miguel, ¿que estas jugando?, yo solía decir: estoy jugando muuuuuuuuu! (como una vaca) y solíamos reírnos. Lo interesante acerca de este juego era que habían varias versiones de este juego, y cada versión tenia un diferente nombre como: mu magdalena, mu online, mu brad, mu argentina, etc. habían tantas versiones que no podría terminar de mencionarlas todas, y estoy seguro de que solo conocí un pequeño porcentaje de versiones, estoy seguro que habían incluso mas. Y lo interesante era que si te aburrías de una versión podías jugar otra versión, que no era exactamente la misma que la anterior, porque a pesar de que todas ellas seguían los mismos principios, en cada versión habían varias cosas que eran diferentes, y eso era lo que solía hacer tentador jugar otra versión y otra y así sucesivamente.
El juego básicamente consistía en que tenias que crearte tu propia cuenta, y en tu cuenta podías tener hasta 5 personajes que podías estar mejorando todos ellos a la misma vez, o tal vez podías crearte solo un personaje y solo avanzar ese, o 2, o 3, esto era depende de ti. Y una vez que entrabas al juego básicamente lo que tenias que hacer era matar monstruos de la ciudad que estabas, y después ir a otra ciudad o mundo, y seguir matando monstruos que eran mas fuertes cada vez, con el fin de subir de nivel hasta que llegues a un cierto nivel y después resetees tu personaje con el fin de volverte mas fuerte cada vez. Mientras mas resets tenias, mas fuerte solías volverte, porque por cada nivel que subías tenias mas puntos para añadir a tus puntos de ataque, defensa, vida o resistencia.
Y resetear era extremadamente necesario porque una vez que llegabas a un cierto nivel tú no podías subir mas de nivel. Por ejemplo, si tenia un personaje que había creado en un cierto mu donde el nivel máximo era 350, y este personaje empieza con nivel 1, y después de haber matado un montón de monstruos finalmente llegue al nivel 350, no podría seguir subiendo de nivel, y en consecuencia no podría tener mas puntos para incrementar a mis habilidades, así que ahora te puedes imaginar cuan necesario era resetear mi personaje con el fin de ser capaz de subir niveles de nuevo.
Aparte de matar monstruos con el fin de subir de nivel para conseguir mas puntos para mejorar tus habilidades, tu otro deber era conseguir mejores ropas cada vez para tu personaje, mientras mejores sean, mejores podrán ser tus puntos de ataque, defensa, resistencia, vida, etc. Y con eso, podrías volverte mas fuerte cada vez. Y una vez que llegaste al limite de puntos que podías incrementar a tu personaje y tenias las mejores ropas que podías conseguir, podías unirte a un clan con el fin de pelear con otros poderosos personajes. Y ese era el propósito final de este juego, ganar batallas con el fin de que tu clan o grupo se vuelva el mas conocido.
Una vez que te volvías lo mas fuerte que te podías volver, estabas preparado para unirte a un clan para pelear con otros personajes. Eso era al menos lo que era recomendable si querías ser muy competitivo. Pero, a pesar de que no habías llegado al limite, aun podías unirte a un clan en cualquier momento, no importaba si eras el mas débil, o si te habías creado tu cuenta el mismo día. Y eso era lo que bastante gente solía hacer, unirse a un clan con el fin de conseguir ayuda, porque una vez que estabas en un clan, personas con un nivel mas alto o con mas tiempo en el juego que tu podían regalarte mejores cosas para ti, o también podían ayudarte a subir de nivel mas rápido, especialmente si eras un novato en este juego, porque cuando eres nuevo, subir de nivel es un poco difícil, pero cada vez que tu reseteas, solía volverse mas fácil subir de nivel.
Lo que era muy divertido era que en el lugar donde solía jugar ese juego teníamos un clan, y en ese clan estaban todos mis amigos quienes también solían jugar ese juego. Así que por ejemplo, si estaba en una batalla con otro clan, y no podía ganar porque los otros miembros del otro clan eran mas fuertes, podía hablar con uno de mis amigos que estaban en el mismo lugar, pero no jugando el juego, y decirle que me apoye. Esa era la belleza del clan, el compañerismo de todos los miembros. A veces solíamos intercambiar ropas, o prestarnos ciertas cosas, o ayudar a subir de nivel a los otros miembros, etc.
Bien, espero que te haya gustado esta lectura, y de nuevo, me hubiera gustado contarte acerca de los otros mas recientes videojuegos que solía jugar desde que tenia 14 hasta ahora, pero eso sera algo que te contare en la siguiente parte de esta lectura. English to Spanish: My Love For Video Games, Part Five
Source text - English Have you ever played a bloody game?, how was it?, did you want to throw up?. Well, here in this part 5 of this reading I will talk more about those kind of games, and hopefully I could talk about other kind of games that I also used to play. I hope you like it.
I remember that in that new cybercafe apart from playing starcraft, we also used to play half life. Most of us used to play starcraft for a while, and then, when we used to get bored, we used to chat on msn, listen to music, or play half life. Unlike starcraft, half life was a game where you had to play necessarily with other people, so always we used to coordinate with several friends to play that game.
For me, half life is one of the bloodiest games that I have ever known, this game wasn’t like counter strike, half life was bloody, you didn’t have a team like in counter strike, you could kill to anybody. The person who used to win was the person who had killed more players in all the game, no matter how, the only important was to have the highest score, and that was all.
There were several kind of players, some of them used to go out of their hiding place to grab the bazooka which was in the center of the field and start to kill bloodily to everybody. And when someone used to kill with the bazooka it was very common to see heads, arms, legs and bodies flying through the air.
There were other kind of players who we used to call them “bitches”, because they used to hide with a bow to kill players who were walking in a very busy area, and in that way, they used to get the highest score of all of us very easily. It was funny when we used to find them, because without any warning we used to appear as a ghost behind of them and finally used to kill them with a crowbar and they used to desperately try to run, but fortunately in most of the cases it was in vain, because they used to die anyway. To be killed with a crowbar was the greatest humiliation that anybody could experiment, at least in this game. Every time that someone used to die with this weapon, all the people who were playing the game used to laugh, even some spectators too.
Sometimes we used to agree that we just could use the crowbar to kill other players, and it was funny to see running in all the field lots of players pursuing other players who were about to die, and something even more funny was to hear a friend of mine who was about to die shouting: “please don’t kill me!, ahhhhh!!!”, as a pussy.
There were other kind of players who used to jump all over the place with a special backpack, and the way they used to jump was like if they were girls, very feminine. They didn’t used to jump short spaces, they used to jump long spaces, and in that way they could avoid being harmed by the attacks of certain weapons of other players. It was definitely a very smart way to survive when someone used to attack them.
But, there were another way more creative to survive to those attacks, you just had to grab a disintegrator ray, and everytime someone attack you with a bazooka or a weapon that causes an explosion, you just had to shoot the ray to the ground after having charged the weapon for a certain time in order to jump and not being damaged by the attacker. And once you were about to fall to the floor again, like you jumped up to a certain high, you could receive a little damage for falling to the floor, and to avoid that, everything that you had to do was to shoot to the floor after having charged a little bit the disintegrator ray again to eliminate practically the damage. But this trick was useless if someone attacks you with a bow, another disintegrator ray, or other weapon that doesn’t cause an explosion. It was very funny to see people jumping with the disintegrator ray and while they were in the air being killed by an arrow.
There were also other kind of players who used to throw a pair of little bombs in a busy place, hide and wait for someone to pass where the bombs were, and when someone walked next to the bombs, they used to push the button in order to kill to them. This kind of players didn’t use to have the highest scores in the game, but finally, that wasn’t their purposes. All they wanted to do was to enjoy the pleasure of killing to someone with those bombs, and that was all.
And finally, the last kind of players, were the players who used to activate the bomb which was far away from the main field, and everybody had to run to take refuge inside of the base which contained the center where the big bomb was activated (big base). This last kind of players, once they had activated the big bomb, they used to hide in front of the big base, and used to kill with a bow to all of the players who used to run to take refuge in the big base, and that was a good way to increase their score. Some of the players already knew this trick, and used to surprise to this last kind of players and killed them without they even realize what happened.
What some of us used to do was to ignore completely that the bomb had been activated and keep playing in the main field. And once the big bomb had exploted, all the players who kept playing used to die, but immediately used to revive and used to keep playing.
Well, I hope you liked this reading. In the next chapter hopefully I could tell you about other 2 kind of games, one is about strategy, a more advanced version of starcraft and the other is about a kind of game which is like a combination of counter strike and the walking dead. Recuerdo que en ese nuevo Internet aparte de jugar starcraft, también solíamos jugar half life. La mayoría de nosotros solíamos jugar starcraft por un rato, y después, cuando solíamos aburrirnos, solíamos chatear en msn, escuchar música, o jugar half life. A diferencia de starcraft, half life era un juego donde tenias que jugar necesariamente con otras personas, así que siempre solíamos coordinar con varios amigos para jugar ese juego.
Para mi, half life es uno de los juegos mas sangrientos que alguna vez he conocido, este juego no era como counter strike, half life era sangriento, no tenias un equipo como en counter strike, tu podías matar a cualquiera. La persona que solía ganar era la persona que había matado mas jugadores en todo el juego, no importa como, lo único importante era tener la puntuación mas alta, y eso era todo.
Habían varios tipos de jugadores, algunos de ellos solían salir de sus lugares de escondite para agarrar la bazuca que estaba en el centro del campo y empezar a matar sangrientamente a todo el mundo. Y cuando alguien solía matar con la bazuca era muy común ver cabezas, brazos, piernas y cuerpos volando por los aires.
Habían otros tipos de jugadores que nosotros solíamos llamarles “perras”, porque se solían ocultar con un arco para matar jugadores que estaban caminando en un área bien concurrida, y de esa manera, ellos solían conseguir la puntuación mas alta de todos nosotros muy fácilmente. Era divertido cuando solíamos encontrarlos, porque sin ninguna advertencia nosotros solíamos aparecer como un fantasma detrás de ellos y finalmente solíamos matarlos con una pata de cabra y ellos solían desesperadamente tratar de correr, pero afortunadamente en la mayoría de los casos esto era en vano, porque ellos solían morir de todos modos. Ser asesinado con una pata de cabra era la humillación mas grande que cualquiera podía experimentar, al menos en este juego. Cada vez que alguien solía morir con esta arma, todas las personas que estaban jugando el juego solían reír, incluso algunos espectadores también.
A veces solíamos acordar que solo podríamos usar la pata de cabra para matar otros jugadores, y era divertido ver correr en todo el campo un montón de jugadores persiguiendo a otros jugadores que estaban a punto de morir, y algo incluso mas divertido era escuchar a un amigo mio que estaba a punto de morir gritar: “por favor, no me mates!, ahhhhh!!!”, como un marica.
Habían otro tipo de jugadores que solían saltar por todo el lugar con una mochila especial, y la forma en que ellos solían saltar era como si ellos fueran chicas, muy femeninas. Ellos no solían saltar espacios cortos, ellos solían saltar largos espacios, y de esa manera ellos podían evitar ser dañados por los ataques de ciertas armas de otros jugadores. Esto era definitivamente una manera muy inteligente de sobrevivir cuando alguien solía atacarlos.
Pero, había otra manera mas creativa de sobrevivir a esos ataques, solo tenias que agarrar un rayo desintegrador, y cada vez que alguien te atacaba con una bazuca o un arma que causa una explosión, solo tenias que disparar el rayo al piso después de haber cargado el arma por un cierto tiempo con el fin de saltar y no ser dañado por el atacante. Y una vez que estabas a punto de caer al piso de nuevo, como tú saltaste hasta una cierta altura, podías recibir un poco de daño por caer al piso, y para evitar eso, todo lo que tenias que hacer era disparar al piso después de haber cargado un poco el rayo desintegrador de nuevo para eliminar prácticamente el daño. Pero este truco era inútil si alguien te atacaba con un arco, otro rayo desintegrador, u otra arma que no cause una explosión. Era muy divertido ver personas saltando con el rayo desintegrador y mientras ellos estaban en el aire ser asesinados por una flecha.
También habían otro tipo de jugadores que solían arrojar un par de pequeñas bombas en un lugar concurrido, ocultarse y esperar porque alguien pase por donde las bombas estaban, y cuando alguien caminaba al lado de las bombas, ellos solían presionar el botón con el fin de matarlos. Este tipo de jugadores no solían tener la puntuación mas alta en el juego, pero finalmente, ese no eran sus propósitos. Todos lo que ellos querían hacer era disfrutar el placer de matar a alguien con esas bombas, y eso era todo.
Y finalmente, el ultimo tipo de jugadores, eran los jugadores que solían activar la bomba que estaba lejos del campo principal, y todo el mundo tenia que correr para refugiarse dentro de la base que contenía el centro donde la gran bomba era activada ( gran base). Este ultimo tipo de jugadores, una vez que ellos habían activado la gran bomba, solían esconderse al frente de la gran base, y solían matar con un arco a todos los jugadores que solían correr para refugiarse en la gran base, y esa era una buena manera de incrementar sus puntajes. Algunos de los jugadores ya conocían este truco, y solían sorprenderlos y matarlos a este ultimo tipo de jugadores sin que incluso se den cuenta de lo que paso.
Lo que algunos de nosotros solíamos hacer era ignorar completamente que la bomba había sido activada y seguir jugando en el campo principal. Y una vez que la gran bomba había explotado, todos los jugadores que siguieron jugando solían morir, pero inmediatamente solían revivir y seguir jugando.

English to Spanish: My Experience With Shyness And Insecurity
Source text - English Are You Shy?, have you ever being really afraid of talking to people?, or maybe afraid of making a fool of yourself while exposing a certain topic in your class?, or maybe afraid of making a fool of yourself trying to do something new?. Well, in this article I will tell you my own story with shyness and how I overcame it. I hope you like this reading.
It’s amazing how free you feel when you are a child, you can go out to the street using your underwear in your head and your blanket as a superhero and run as a crazy for the streets and yell: uhuuuuu, yijaaaa, I’m a super herooo!, and laughing without being afraid of what people think of you. Or to pee in an avenue while smiling to people, saying hi and keep peeing.
It’s amazing how someone behave when is a child, I know that not all the children are like that, but at least a considerable percentage are like that. And I was one of those children that I have described. What I said before about peeing and running all crazy as a super hero in the streets are the things that I used to do. I wasn’t shy at all, even though I was exposed to physical and psychological abuse.
When I grew up, I considered myself as a shy person, when I used to like a girl, I didn’t used to say nothing, they even greet me and I didn’t used to say anything because I was shy, so due to that reason, they used to think that I was arrogant. I used to give gifts to make a hit with one girl, or send messages in a piece of paper. Or even when I had to expose in front of my partners or other people I used to feel very shy, or forget what I had to say. Now, when I remember those things I laugh and smile, I even try to look shy on purpose to have fun. It’s really funny, you should try.
When I was 14 years old, I had an accident and due to that accident I broke my nose and I almost lose one of my front teeth, but I quickly went to a dentist and thanks God he could save my tooth. But unluckily, my tooth lost his natural color and it looked gray. So, as you can imagine, I didn’t want to smile anymore, and every time that something was making me laugh, I used to smile just a little bit in order to people don’t notice my tooth. And you might be asking yourself: what happened with your broken nose?, It’s still broken my friend, currently I still don’t have the money to fix it, so it will have to wait.
So, before that accident I used to consider myself as cute, and after that accident, and with those 2 imperfections, and even worse, being a teenager, this being the period where you form your personality, you surely can imagine how insecure I became.
And even worse, because in that period, due to my new shy personality, people used to want to harness that in order to bother me, and even some of them used to want to fight with me. And one of them did it, and I lost the fight and cried. And you surely can imagine how destroyed I was inside of myself. But don’t worry, currently I’ve recovered completely, and I will explain you how I did it.
When you are in your bedroom, after all of this happened, really destroyed internally, you just have 2 options: to not do anything, or to do something to resolve this problem. I finally accepted myself like that, with this new appearance, with a not attractive smile and with a not attractive nose. So, as you can imagine, this wasn’t easy at all. Even worse, when you know that you had a really cute nose.
So, once I accepted myself again, I continued my life almost normally. But what I noticed was that I had become extremely shy. So one of the things that I did to increase my confidence were to improve my fighting skills, to use brackets, and to look for on internet how to be more sociable. And all of this really made me feel confident again. Not with a huge confidence, but at least I had an almost normal confidence.
After several years, when I was about 19 years old, I met some friends who used to do crazy things in the street. The purpose of this crazy things that they used to do was variable. Some of them used to do it to gain more confidence, others wanted to become more sociable, others wanted to meet new girls to have adventures with them, others wanted to get a girlfriend, others wanted to get new friends, and others wanted to improve their speaking skills in english talking with foreing people.
So, when I entered into this new world, I started as a newbie, and I was afraid of even saying hi to my new friends, or new people who used to incorporate in the group. So, they started to give me some tips, started to learn something of everyone, doing some exercises to become more sociable, etc.
Some of the exercises that I started to do were: Ask for directions, ask for the time, saying hi to the people who sell me in the supermarkets, etc. And as I started to do it, I became more normal every time. After that, the exercises became more complex. Maybe if you are reading this, this things might look very ridiculous for you. Don’t judge me, I had become really shy.
So, the next exercises that I did were: to ask questions to unknown people in the street, to say hi to girls who like me and then run, to help foreign people with directions, etc. After that, they increased the difficulty. I started to jump as a rabbit in the street while some people were looking at me, and I had to smile them while I was jumping, I did push ups in front of people, I yelled things that would make feel ridiculous to almost anybody, some of the things that I used to yell were true, others not, but used to have the same effects in myself, the effect of feeling ashamed. Some of the things that used to yell were: simply ahhhhhh!!! as crazy; I’m goku, where the fuck are freezer?, don’t hide, let’s gonna fight; my brother raped me when I was a child, and I liked it; girls think that I’m retarded, etc. It’s weird, but, after having said all those things I started to feel free, very confident, and I even felt that my voice and my corporal language had changed. It was incredible.
After having done all those things, I wasn’t considered as a newbie anymore. Even, some of my new friends used to follow me and keep asking me for a piece of advice. So, I started to train to some of my new friends, but obviously, I used to set an example first.
All this new confidence that I had were thanks to some psychological principles which I learned of some people who were very interesting. And the application of those principles started to help me in my life in general. For example, when I was about to expose an important topic in front of my class and I was very nervous, I used to say to myself: “Oh, are you nervous little kid?, are you gonna cry?, do you want to your mom?.” And after having said all those things I used to laugh, stand up and start to expose. Other thing that I used to do was to reframe the situation. I didn’t used to think: “Oh, I’m nervous, I don’t know what to do, all the class is gonna make fun of me, that’s terrible”, I used to think insted: “Oh, I’m nervous, this is the perfect moment to make a fool of myself in front of the class, that’s awesome. I’m not gonna have to pretend to be nervous or behave like a fool”, I know that what I have said in this moment might sound a little bit stupid for you, but you don’t have idea how powerful it is, if you apply it correctly. And the last thing that I used to do was to think this: “I know that when I will be in front of the class I will be very nervous, and that will be okay. Just focus your energy on being congruent with how you feel and let it go”. That is a principle that I learned of a friend who I used to go out a lot. And according to the principle what would happen is that at the beginning of my exposition I will hesitate a lot, and after a couple of minutes of focusing on being congruent and feeling free in expressing how I want, I will start to feel more confident, and I will start to expose incredibly. And this principle, if you do it right, it really works.
And while I started to do those crazy things, I met several girls in the process, it’s crazy when you meet someone who likes what you do, and even admire you. I started to know different backgrounds, different realities, mentalities, cultures, and kept learning of all of them.
Finally, after a couple of years, at the beginnings of my 23’s, I made a couple of things to increase even more my confidence, in order to become more solid. And what I did were to whiten my gray tooth in order to recover its normal color, but several dentist told me that the tooth was too gray, and It wasn’t possible to recover the normal color again, maybe a little bit less gray, but not at its normality. So, I started to lose hope, but due to my insistence, I went to several dentists, and when I had received the same negative answer of 5 dentist at the same time, I had lost the hope totally. But, I don’t know how I saw a doctor which hadn’t given his opinion, and I asked him what he thinks about it, and he told me something different. There is a possibility that your tooth can recover its normal color, an small possibility, but this possibility exists. And I asked him: “Why do you have a different opinion compared to the rest of dentists?”, and he told me: ” There is no hope supposedly, but, do you believe in God?” and I replied: yes. And he told me: “So then, there is a possibility”.
That answer was enough to try the treatment. And finally it worked awesomely. It was funny because when the treatment finished, all the dentists started to take several pictures and started to say: “This will be filed as an medical miracle”.
After that, I started to read and I realized that some famous men used to curl their eyelashes in order to have a more attractive glance. So that was what I did, I curled my eyelashes. But that didn’t finish there, I also read that some of them used to dye their eyelashes, so that is also what I did, and now I look much better. I admit that all these things weren’t necessary to have confidence, but it’s inevitable to feel much more confident when I look better. So, these things are just like something extra.
And currently, at this moment, in the month of june of 2016, I’m letting my mustache and beard grow, because I don’t know why, but I feel it makes me look different, with a new style, and some people have told me that I look beter like this, I had never imagined this. Also, I’m starting to do exercises in order to feel better, but also to increase a little bit my weight, to be stronger and to be able to look better.
Well, it’s interesting how sad and depressed I was in the past, for all the situations that I experienced, and how happy I am now, after having overcome all my shyness and my insecurities. Bien, en este articulo te contare mi propia historia con la timidez y como la supere. Espero que te guste esta lectura.
Es asombroso cuan libre te sientes cuando eres un niño, puedes salir a la calle usando tu calzoncillo en tu cabeza y tu sabana como un super héroe y correr como un loco por las calles y gritar: uhuuuuu, yijaaaa, ¡soy un super heroe!, y reír sin tener miedo de lo que la gente piense de ti. O miccionar en una avenida mientras le estas sonriendo a la gente, diciendo hola y siguiendo orinando.
Es asombroso como alguien se comporta cuando es un niño, se que no todos los niños son así, pero al menos un porcentaje considerable son así. Y yo era uno de esos niños que he descrito. Lo que dije antes acerca de orinar y correr todo loco como un super héroe en las calles son las cosas que yo solía hacer. No era tímido en lo absoluto, a pesar de que fui expuesto a abuso físico y psicológico.
Cuando crecí, me considere a mi mismo como una persona tímida, cuando me solía gustar una chica, no solía decir nada, ellas incluso me saludaban y yo no solía decir nada porque era tímido, así que debido a esa razón, ellas solían pensar que era arrogante. Yo solía dar regalos para impresionar a una chica, o enviar mensajes en un pedazo de papel. O incluso cuando tenia que exponer en frente de mis compañeros u otras personas yo solía sentirme muy tímido, o olvidaba lo que tenia que decir. Ahora, cuando recuerdo esas cosas me río y sonrío, incluso trato de verme tímido a propósito para divertirme. Esto es realmente divertido, deberías intentarlo.
Cuando tenia 14 años de edad, tuve un accidente y debido a ese accidente me rompí la nariz y casi pierdo uno de mis dientes frontales, pero rápidamente me fui a un dentista y gracias a Dios él pudo salvar mi diente. Pero desafortunadamente, mi diente perdió su color natural y se veía gris. Así que, como te lo puedes imaginar, no quería sonreír nunca mas, y cada vez que algo me estaba haciendo reír, solía sonreír solo un poco con el fin de que la gente no note mi diente. Así que, antes de ese accidente me solía considerar a mi mismo como lindo, y después de ese accidente, y con esas 2 imperfecciones, e incluso peor, siendo un adolescente, este siendo el periodo donde formas tu personalidad, seguramente te puedes imaginar cuan inseguro me volví.
E incluso peor, porque en ese periodo, debido a mi nueva personalidad tímida, la gente solía querer aprovechar eso con el fin de molestarme, e incluso algunos de ellos solían querer pelear conmigo. Y uno de ellos lo hizo, y perdí la pelea y llore. Y seguramente puedes imaginarte cuando destruido estaba dentro de mi. Pero no te preocupes, actualmente me he recuperado completamente, y te explicaré como lo hice.
Cuando estas en tu habitación, después de que todo esto paso, realmente destruido internamente, solo tienes 2 opciones: no hacer nada, o hacer algo para resolver este problema. Finalmente me acepte a mi mismo así, con esta nueva apariencia, con una no atractiva sonrisa y nariz. Así que, como te lo puedes imaginar, esto no fue fácil en lo absoluto. Incluso peor, cuando sabes que realmente tenias una bonita nariz.
Así que, una vez que me acepte de nuevo, continué mi vida casi normalmente. Pero lo que note fue que me había vuelto extremadamente tímido. Así que una de las cosas que hice para incrementar mi confianza fue incrementar mis habilidades de pelea, usar brackets, y buscar en internet como volverme mas sociable. Y todo esto realmente me hizo sentir confiado denuevo. No con una enorme confianza, pero al menos tenia casi una confianza normal.
Después de varios años, cuando tenia alrededor de 19 años de edad, conocí algunos amigos que solían hacer cosas locas en la calle. El propósito de estas cosas locas que ellos solían hacer era variable. Algunos de ellos solían hacer esto para ganar mas confianza, otros querían volverse mas sociables, otros querían conocer nuevas chicas para tener aventuras con ellas, otros querían conseguir una enamorada, otros querían conseguir nuevos amigos, otros querían mejorar sus habilidades de habla en ingles hablando con extranjeros.
Así que, cuando entre en este nuevo mundo, empece como un nuevo, y tenia miedo de incluso decir hola a mis nuevos amigos, o nuevas personas que se solían incorporar en el grupo. Así que, ellos empezaron dándome algunos consejos, empece a aprender algo de cada uno, haciendo algunos ejercicios para volverme mas sociable, etc.
Algunos de los ejercicios que empece a hacer fueron: preguntar por direcciones, preguntar por la hora, decir hola a la gente que me vende en los supermercados, etc. Y como empece a hacer esto, me volví mas normal cada vez. Después de eso, los ejercicios se volvieron mas complejos. Derrepente si tu estas leyendo esto, estas cosas podrían parecer muy ridículas para ti. No me juzgues, me había vuelto realmente tímido.
Así que, los siguientes ejercicios que hice fueron: realizar preguntas a gente desconocida en la calle, decir hola a chicas que me gustan y después correr, ayudar a extranjeros con direcciones, etc. Después de eso, incrementaron la dificultad. Empece a saltar como un conejo en la calle mientras algunas personas me estaban mirando, y tenia que sonreirles mientras estaba saltando, hice planchas en frente de personas, grite cosas que harían sentir ridículo a casi cualquiera, algunas de las cosas que solía gritar eran verdad, otras no, pero solían tener los mismos efectos en mi, el efecto de sentirme avergonzado. Algunas de las cosas que solía gritar eran: simplemente ahhhhhh!!! como un loco; soy goku, donde rayos estas freezer?, no te ocultes, vamos a pelear; mi hermano me violo cuando era niño, y me gustó; las chicas piensan que soy un retardado, etc. Es raro, pero, después de haber dicho todas esas cosas empece a sentirme libre, muy confiado, incluso sentí que mi voz y mi lenguaje corporal habían cambiado. Esto era increíble.
Después de haber hecho todas esas cosas, no fui considerado como un nuevo nunca mas. Incluso, algunos de mis nuevos amigos solían seguirme y pedirme constantemente un consejo. Así que, empece a entrenar algunos de mis nuevos amigos, pero obviamente, solía dar el ejemplo primero.
Toda esta nueva confianza que tenia fue gracias a algunos principios psicológicos que aprendí de algunas personas que eran muy interesantes. Y la aplicación de esos principios empezaron a ayudarme en mi vida en general. Por ejemplo, cuando estaba a punto de exponer un tema importante en frente de mi clase y estaba muy nervioso, solía decirme a mi mismo: “Oh, ¿estas nervioso pequeñin?, ¿vas a llorar?, ¿quieres a tu mami?.” Y después de haber dicho todas esas cosas solía reír, levantarme y empezar a exponer. Otra cosa que solía hacer era replantear la situación. No solía pensar: “Oh, estoy nervioso, no se que hacer, toda la clase se va a burlar de mi, eso es terrible”, solía pensar en cambio: “Oh, estoy nervioso, este es el momento perfecto para hacer el ridículo en frente de la clase, eso es asombroso. No voy a tener que pretender estar nervioso o comportarme como un tonto”, se que lo que he dicho en este momento podría sonar un poco estúpido para ti, pero no tienes idea cuan poderoso es esto, si lo aplicas correctamente. Y la ultima cosa que solía hacer era pensar esto: “Se que cuando este en frente de la clase estaré muy nervioso, y eso estará bien. Solo enfoca tu energía en ser congruente con lo que sientes y déjalo ir”. Ese es un principio que aprendí de un amigo quien solía salir bastante. Y de acuerdo al principio lo que pasaría es que al principio de mi exposición dudaría bastante, y después de un par de minutos de enfocarme en ser congruente y sentirme libre en expresarme como quiero, empezare a sentirme mas confiado, y empezare a exponer increíblemente. Y este principio, si lo haces correctamente, realmente funciona.
Y mientras empece a hacer esas cosas locas, conocí varias chicas en el proceso, es loco cuando conoces a alguien que le gusta lo que haces, e incluso te admira. Empece a conocer diferentes pasados, diferentes realidades, mentalidades, culturas, y seguí aprendiendo de todos ellos.
Finalmente, después de un par de años, al principio de mis 23’s, hice un par de cosas para incrementar incluso mas mi confianza, con el fin de volverme mas solido. Y lo que hice fue blanquear mi diente gris con el fin de recuperar su color normal, pero varios dentistas me dijeron que el diente estaba muy gris, y que no era posible recuperar el color normal de nuevo, derrepente un poco menos gris, pero no a su normalidad. Así que, empece a perder esperanza, pero debido a mi insistencia, fui a varios dentistas, y cuando había recibido la misma respuesta negativa de 5 dentistas a la misma vez, había perdido la esperanza totalmente. Pero, no se como vi un doctor que no había dado su opinión, y le pregunte que es lo que piensa, y el me dijo algo diferente. Hay una posibilidad que tu diente pueda recuperar su color normal, una pequeña posibilidad, pero esta posibilidad existe. Y le pregunte: “¿Porque tienes una opinión diferente comparado con el resto de los dentistas?”, y el me dijo: “No hay esperanza supuestamente, pero, ¿crees en Dios?”, y respondí: si. Y el me dijo: “Entonces, hay una posibilidad”.
Esa respuesta fue suficiente para probar el tratamiento. Y finalmente este funciono asombrosamente. Fue divertido porque cuando el tratamiento termino, todos los dentistas empezaron a tomar varias fotos y empezaron a decir: “Esto sera archivado como un milagro medico”.
Después de eso, empece a leer y me di cuenta que algunos hombres famosos solían rizar sus pestañas con el fin de tener una mirada mas atractiva. Así que eso fue lo que hice, rice mis pestañas. Pero eso no termino ahí, también leí que alguno de ellos solían teñir sus pestañas, así que eso es también lo que hice, y ahora me veo mucho mejor. Admito que todas estas cosas no fueron necesarias para tener confianza, pero es inevitable sentirme mucho mas confiado cuando me veo mejor. Así que, estas cosas son solo como algo adicional.
Y actualmente, en este momento, en el mes de junio del 2016, me estoy dejando crecer el bigote y la barba, porque no se porque, pero siento que esto me hace ver diferente, con un nuevo estilo, y algunas personas me han dicho que me veo mejor así, nunca había imaginado esto. También, estoy empezando a hacer ejercicios con el fin de sentirme mejor, pero también para incrementar un poco mi peso, para ser mas fuerte y ser capaz de verme mejor.
Bien, es interesante cuan triste y deprimido estaba en el pasado, por todas las situaciones que experimente, y cuan feliz estoy ahora, después de haber superado toda mi timidez y mis inseguridades. Source text - English Have you ever being inspired by something that other person wrote? It is not a mystery that some readings can change your reality, or even your life. Here in this post you will know how a special post changed my whole perspective of life and inspired me to keep writing.
If you have read some of my posts, you surely already know that I write in this blog for passion, but also because I have dreams, and one of my dreams is to have financial freedom, because I want to be able to travel whenever I want to, do whatever I want to do, to not being worried about my bills, or anything like that.
So this blog might help me in that dream, I can get money from this blog. I already have my plan about how to get money from this blog, but I’m not focused on getting money from this blog right now, because I’ve read a post made by Steve Pavlina, a man who already makes a living by blogging, and he gives a very interesting piece of advice about how to get money with a blog.
But before, you must know that the first requirement to get money with your blog is to get high traffic. So, to get that, the first thing he says is: “You must be focused on providing real value to the people, by focusing on writing high quality posts, because people are going to notice if you write to help or if you write because you want to earn money. It’s preferable to write an small amount of posts of high quality than writing lots of post of low quality. That’s the way to get a high traffic blog, once you have a high traffic site by doing what I suggest, it will be really easy to monetize your blog”. Those are not the exact words that he uses, but that is the message.
At the beginning when I started with this blog, I wasn’t as decisive as I’m now about the blog. The idea of earning money with your blog, or even earning the enough money to survive, or even to live the life you have always wanted to live with this, was unbelievable for me. There were several reasons that motivated me to keep writing in this blog, and to decide to earn money with this.
Some of them were:
-To see the amount of visits that I had received in the blog, in the months that I had not written anything. I practically had left the blog completely from April 2015 to February 2016, and even though that, the day where I had received the maximum amount of visits was a day in June 2015. Unbelievable right?
-To see that the amount of likes in the fan page had increased from 5 to 97.
-To realized that some of my posts had been shared by some people.
-To receive some positive comments by some people who really appreciate what I do.
-To find out that one close friend that had created his blog at the same time than me, was already earning money from his blog. Practically, we had created our blogs together. And you must know, that, is not the same to find out that someone who you don’t know is earning money with his/her blog, than finding out about someone who you even have gone out to several parties is earning money with his blog. The idea of earning money with my blog for me became more realistic.
And finally, the number one reason that made me take a solid decision about this, was a post that I read in a blog about people who were in the same situation that I’m right now. The situation where I’m about to finish my career, but I feel like it was a waste of time, because that’s not something that helps me to achieve my dreams. At the beginning, I felt really bad for this, but I felt much better when I read in the post that it was something more common than what I thought, and that it was something completely normal. You cannot imagine how relieved I felt when I read those words.
While I was reading the comments of the people in the post, I realized that there were several people like me, exactly in the same situation than me, students from 23 or 24 years old, that were about to finish or had already finished their careers, who couldn’t find a job and were thinking or had already created their blogs to earn money from them. That made change the way I see the world, my whole reality, and that makes me feel in some way, that I’m not alone. It’s very difficult to explain by just writing, you should experiment this, to understand me. But, the most important thing about this, is that it made me take a solid decision about me and the future of the blog.

Pero antes, debes saber que el primer requerimiento para conseguir dinero con tu blog es conseguir alto trafico. Así que, para conseguir eso, la primera cosa que el dice es: “Debes estar enfocado en proveer valor real a la gente, enfocándote en escribir publicaciones de alta calidad, porque la gente va a notar si escribes para ayudar a la gente o si escribes porque quieres ganar dinero. Es preferible escribir una pequeña cantidad de publicaciones de alta calidad que escribir un montón de publicaciones de baja calidad. Esa es la manera de conseguir un blog de alto trafico, una vez que tienes un sitio con alto trafico haciendo lo que sugiero, sera muy fácil monetizar tu blog”. Esas no son las palabras exactas que el usa, pero ese es el mensaje.
Al principio cuando empece con este blog, no estaba tan decidido como lo estoy ahora con el blog. La idea de ganar dinero con tu blog, o incluso ganar el suficiente dinero para sobrevivir, o incluso para vivir la vida que siempre has querido vivir con esto, era poco creíble para me. Hubo varias razones que me motivaron a seguir escribiendo en este blog, y decidir ganar dinero con esto.
Algunas de ella fueron:
-Ver la cantidad de visitas que había recibido en el blog, en los meses que no había escrito nada. Prácticamente había abandonado el blog completamente desde abril 2015 hasta febrero 2016, y a pesar de eso, el día donde había recibido la máxima cantidad de visitas fue un día en junio 2015. ¿Increíble cierto?
-Ver que la cantidad de me gusta en la fan page había incrementado de 5 a 97.
-Darme cuenta que algunas de mis publicaciones habían sido compartidas por algunas personas.
-Recibir algunos comentarios positivos de algunas algunas que realmente aprecian lo que hago.
-Enterarme que un amigo cercano que había creado su blog al mismo tiempo que yo, ya estaba ganando dinero por medio de su blog. Prácticamente, habíamos creado nuestros blogs juntos. Y debes saber, que, no es lo mismo enterarse que alguien que no conoces esta ganando dinero con su blog, que enterarte que alguien con quien tu incluso has salido a varias fiestas esta ganando dinero con su blog. La idea de ganar dinero con mi blog para mi se volvió mas realista.
Y finalmente, la razón numero uno que me hizo tomar una decisión solida acerca de esto, fue una publicación que leí en un blog acerca de personas que estaban en la misma situación que estoy yo ahora mismo. La situación donde estoy a punto de terminar mi carrera, pero siento como si fue un desperdicio de tiempo, porque no es algo que me ayuda a lograr mis sueños. Al principio, me sentí realmente mal por esto, pero me sentí mucho mejor cuando leí en la publicación que esto era algo mas común de lo que yo pensaba, y que esto era algo completamente normal. No te puedes imaginar cuan aliviado me sentí cuando leí esas palabras.
Mientras estaba leyendo los comentarios de la gente en la publicación, me di cuenta que había varias personas como yo, exactamente en la misma situación que yo, estudiantes de 23 o 24 años de edad, que estaban a punto de terminar o ya habían terminado sus carreras, que no podían encontrar un trabajo y que estaban pensando o ya habían creado sus blogs para ganar dinero de ellos. Eso me hizo cambiar la manera en que veo al mundo, toda mi realidad, y eso me hace sentir de alguna manera, que no estoy solo. Es bien difícil de explicar solo escribiendo, tu deberías de experimentar esto, para entenderme. Pero, la cosa mas importante acerca de esto, es que esto me hizo tomar una decisión solida acerca de mi y el futuro de el blog.

Source text - English Do you love your mother?, how much?, what are the best and the worst memories that you have with her?. Here in this post I will tell you a little bit about my mother and you will know how much a mother can love to a child.
One of the firsts memories that I have with her, is when one day, I don’t remember exactly what I did, but I guess that I made a childish prank, so due to that action my mom slapped me in the face so hard that I cried, and when my mother told me: “Stop crying”, I didn’t stop. So my mother started to feel guilty, so she kissed, hugged and promised me that she will never slap or attack me again. It’s weird, because I know that this happened, but I don’t know how I know it. I just have the memory about me and my mom in a bus going to a district called “Miraflores” while she was kissing and hugging me because I was crying.
Other memory that I have is that I used to watch black and white TV in the kitchen of my house, and after that my mom used to call me to take a shower, I remember clearly when my mom used to dry me with a towel after I had taken a shower, dress me and sleep with me. So, when I used to be cold, my mom always used to hug me to be able to sleep. It’s awesome when you grow and know that you had a mother that loved and took care of you. I have friends who weren’t so lucky, and they don’t have such a good memories, that is really really sad :(. But that will be something that I will talk about in another post.
I remember an epoch when a nanny used to take care of me, what I can remember is that she used to slap or yell me because I didn’t used to eat all my food. So there was a time when I came back from school and I didn’t want to enter into my house, because I was afraid of my nanny, and I hid in the second floor of my grandfather’s house which was next to my house, and from there I could see my father and my nanny inside of the house cooking. I remember that I stayed there for several hours, even though I saw that my father was worried for me.
Until I finally came out of my hiding when I saw my mother coming to the house. Once I was with my mother, she asked me why I was hidden, and after insisting me for a while I finally told her the truth, that I was afraid of my nanny, because I din’t want to be slapped or yelled for not eating my food. Once my mother knew the truth, got fired to the nanny. And something funny that I remember is that after 2 weeks of being fired, my ex-nanny called to the house, talked with my mom and asked her if my mom wanted to hire her again. And she even told her that if she didn’t hire her, we will never know about her again, because she was going to come back to her homeland. And obviously my mom replied her with no thanks.
Something that you might be asking yourself is: “why Didn’t I come back to my house when I realized that my father was in the house with the nanny?”. The answer is that I didn’t used to trust in my father when I was a child, because he also used to hit me. The only person that I used to trust was in my mother, even though she hit me in the past. Because she had promised that she wouldn’t hit me again, and definitely she hadn’t done it again. I’m not going to get into details about this theme because this will be something that I will tell you in another post, but you surely can imagine who was the person who used to defend me with all her strength of my father.
Another thing that I remember is that my mom used to monitor my progress about certain topics that I had to study. As you can imagine, I was a child, so in order to incentivize me to study, my mom used to do something very funny to achieve that objective. But that is something which I will tell you in the second part of this story.

Uno de los primeros recuerdos que tengo con ella, es cuando un día, no recuerdo exactamente lo que hice, pero supongo que hice una travesura, así que debido a esa acción mi mama me cacheteó en la cara tan duro que llore, y cuando mi madre me dijo: “Deja de llorar”, no me detuve. Así que mi madre empezó a sentirse culpable, así que me beso, abrazo y prometió que nunca me cachetearía o atacaría de nuevo. Es raro, porque se que esto paso, pero no se como lo se. Solo tengo el recuerdo de mi y mi madre en un bus yendo a un distrito llamado “Miraflores” mientras que ella me estaba besando y abrazando porque estaba llorando.
Otro recuerdo que tengo es que solía ver televisión en blanco y negro en la cocina de mi casa, y después de eso mi mama solía llamarme para tomar una ducha, recuerdo claramente cuando mi mama solía secarme con una toalla después de que había tomado una ducha, vestirme y dormir conmigo. Así que, cuando solía tener frió, mi mama siempre solía abrazarme para poder dormir. Es asombroso cuando creces y sabes que tuviste una madre que te amó y cuidó de ti. Tengo amigos que no fueron tan afortunados, y que no tienen tan buenos recuerdos, eso es realmente muy triste :(. Pero eso sera algo que hablare en otra publicación.
Recuerdo una época cuando una niñera solía cuidarme, lo que puedo recordar es que solía cachetearme o gritarme porque no solía comer toda mí comida. Así que hubo una vez cuando regrese del colegio y no quería entrar a mi casa, porque tenia miedo de mi niñera, y me oculte en el segundo piso de la casa de mi abuelo que estaba al lado de mi casa, y desde allí podía ver a mi padre y a mi niñera adentro de la casa cocinando. Recuerdo que me quede allí por varias horas, a pesar de que vi que mi padre estaba preocupado por mi.
Hasta qué finalmente salí de mi escondite cuando vi a mi madre llegando a la casa. Una vez que estaba con mi madre, ella me pregunto que por que me había escondido, y después de insistirme por un rato finalmente le dije la verdad, de que le tenia miedo a mi niñera, porque no quería ser cacheteado o gritado por no comer mi comida. Una vez que mi madre supo la verdad, despidió a la niñera. Y algo divertido que recuerdo es que después de 2 semanas de ser despedida, mi ex niñera llamo a la casa, hablo con mi mama y le pregunto si mi mama quería contratarla de nuevo, porque ella iba a regresar a su tierra. Y obviamente mi mama respondió con no gracias.
Algo que podrías estar preguntándote es: “¿Porque no regrese a mi casa cuando me di cuenta que mi padre estaba en la casa con la niñera?”. La respuesta es que no solía confiar en mi padre cuando era un niño, porque el también solía golpearme. La única persona que solía confiar era en mi madre, a pesar de que me golpeo en el pasado. Por qué ella había prometido que no me golpearía de nuevo, y definitivamente no lo había hecho denuevo. No voy a entrar en detalles en este tema porque esto sera algo que te contare en otra publicación, porque seguramente puedes imaginar quien era la persona que solía defenderme con todas sus fuerzas de mi padre.
Otra cosa que recuerdo es que mi mama solía monitorear mi progreso en ciertos temas que tenia que estudiar. Como puedes imaginar, era un niño, así que con el fin de incentivarme a estudiar, mi mama solía hacer algo muy divertido para lograr ese objetivo. Pero eso es algo que te contare en la segunda parte de esta historia.
English to Spanish: The Dog Which I Will Always Remember
Source text - English Have you ever had a dog?, did you love it?, what’s the best memory that you have with it?, or the worst?. Here in this post I will tell you about a little dog which died several years ago, but, it will always be in my heart. I hope you like this reading.
I remember when I was about 5 years old that in my grandparents’ house there was a dog which was of my uncle, who in that time was about 14 years old. I remember that every time I used to go to visit them with my mom, the little dog always used to jump on me and start to lick me. That was disgusting for me, I used to really hate that, especially because the dog and me were from the same size, so it didn’t used to lick my foot, or stomach, it used to lick my face. So you can imagine how terrible was that for me.
I don’t remember a lot about this dog, because as I told you before I barely was 5 years old. I don’t remember if at some time I played with it or not. But what I can barely remember is one day when my mom and the rest of the family went out and I was left alone inside of my grandparents’ house. I remember that I tried to open the door to go out and look for them, but the door couldn’t be opened. So I went up to the second floor and I found to the dog, and obviously I was very angry, and casually I heard the voices of my mom and the members of my family in the entrance door of the first floor, so I looked out the balcony and I saw them. So, I told them: “Hey, I’m gonna throw the dog for the balcony if you don’t open the door”. So, they tried to open the door desperately, but they couldn’t open it on time because they couldn’t find the keys. So I threw to the dog for the balcony, but thanks god the dog only had a broken leg and a great scare. I don’t remember what happened after that, but I know that my uncle didn’t punch me, or made me something. I guess that he just cried for his little dog, and took it to the hospital.
More than 18 years after that incident, about 1 month ago, I went to the mall in my uncle’s car with my mom, my uncle, my aunt and my grandmother, to buy a laptop to my grandmother for 2 reasons: because the doctor told her that she needed to exercise her mind, and because she needed to talk with someone to not feel so alone when there is no one in her house. So, how she can’t go out alone to visit someone, the laptop would be very useful to chat with her friends through skype.
So, once we chose the appropriate laptop to her, when we were coming back to my uncle’s car, they started to comment about me, about how much I had changed, that when I was a kid I was very naughty, and now I was very calmed, that this is incredible and things like that. When suddenly they started to talk about the time when I threw the dog of my uncle to the first floor. My aunt asked to my uncle: “Carlitos (that’s his name) do you remember when Miguel (me) threw your dog and it broke its leg?”, and I saw my uncle, and he started to tell how it happened and laughing at the same time, and I saw his face, and while he was telling the story I didn’t notice rancor in his eyes, but suddenly while he was telling the story and remembering, he started to cry and laugh at the same time. I felt really guilty at that moment and I told him: “I’m sorry”. But he told me with his glance: “don’t worry”, but anyway I felt really guilty.
It’s not that I felt guilty just that day, I used to feel guilty even before that day. Because when I grew up I realized that that action of licking to one person was an act of affection for the dogs, not an act of bothering to someone. I will always regret what I did, especially because that little dog was really adorable, even more now, that I saw crying to my uncle. Animals are fantastic partners, love them and cuddle them. They will know how to thank to you.

Recuerdo cuando tenia alrededor de 5 años de edad que en la casa de mis abuelos había un perro que era de mí tío, quien en ese tiempo tenia alrededor de 14 años de edad. Recuerdo que cada vez que solía ir a visitarlos con mi mama, el pequeño perro siempre solía saltar encima mio y empezaba a lamerme. Eso era asqueroso para mi, solía realmente odiar eso, especialmente porque el perro y yo eramos del mismo tamaño, así que este no solía lamer mi pie, o mi estomago, este solía lamer mi cara. Así que puedes imaginar cuan terrible era eso para mi.
No recuerdo mucho acerca de este perro, porque como te dije antes apenas tenia 5 años de edad. No recuerdo si en algún momento jugué con el o no. Pero lo que apenas puedo recordar es un día cuando mi mama y el resto de la familia salieron y me dejaron solo adentro de la casa de mis abuelos. Recuerdo que trate de abrir la puerta para salir y buscarlos, pero la puerta no podía ser abierta. Así que subí al segundo piso y encontré al perro, y obviamente yo estaba muy molesto, y casualmente escuche las voces de mi mama y los miembros de mi familia en la puerta de entrada del primer piso, así que me asome por la ventana y los vi. Así que, les dije: “Hey, voy a lanzar al perro por el balcón si no me abren la puerta”. Así que, trataron de abrir la puerta desesperadamente, pero no pudieron abrirla a tiempo porque no pudieron encontrar las llaves. Así que lance al perro por el balcón, pero gracias a Dios el perro solo tuvo una pierna rota y un gran susto. No recuerdo que paso después de eso, pero se que mi tío no me golpeo, o me hizo algo. Supongo que el solo lloro por su pequeño perro, y lo llevo al hospital.
Mas de 18 años después de ese incidente, aproximadamente 1 mes atrás, fui al centro comercial en el carro de mi tío con mi mama, mi tío, mi tía y mi abuela, para comprar una laptop para mi abuela por 2 razones: porque el doctor le dijo que ella necesitaba ejercitar su mente, y porque necesitaba hablar con alguien para no sentirse tan sola cuando no hay nadie en su casa. Así que, como ella no puede salir sola a visitar a alguien, la laptop seria muy útil para hablar con sus amigos a través de skype.
Así que, una vez que escogimos la laptop apropiada para ella, cuando estábamos regresando al carro de mi tío, empezaron a comentar acerca de mi, acerca de lo mucho que había cambiado, que cuando era un niño era muy travieso, y que ahora era muy calmado, que eso es increíble y cosas así. Cuando derrepente empezaron a hablar acerca de la vez que arroje al perro de mi tío al primer piso. Mi tía le pregunto a mi tío: “¿Carlitos (ese es su nombre) recuerdas cuando Miguel (yo) lanzo a tu perro y este se rompió la pierna?”, y vi a mi tío, y el empezó a contar como esto paso y riendo a la misma vez, y vi su cara, y mientras estaba contando la historia no note rencor en sus ojos, pero derrepente mientras el estaba contando la historia y recordando, empezó a llorar y reír a la misma vez. Me sentí realmente culpable en ese momento y le dije: “lo siento”. Pero el me dijo con su mirada: “no te preocupes”, pero de todos modos me sentí realmente culpable.
No es que me sentí culpable solo ese día, solía sentirme culpable incluso antes de ese día. Porque cuando crecí me di cuenta que esa acción de lamer a una persona era un acto de cariño para los perros, no un acto de molestar a alguien. Siempre lamentaré lo que hice, especialmente porque ese pequeño perro era realmente adorable, incluso mas ahora, que vi llorar a mi tío. Los animales son fantásticos compañeros, ámalos y mimalos. Source text - English Have you ever met a girl or a guy from tinder?, or another social media or application?, how was your experiencie?. Here in this post I will write my own story, as I said in the tittle of this post, my own story with a girl who I recently met from tinder. I hope you like it.
Everything started one day when I knew that I was going to work in a job related to my career, I knew that I wasn’t going to have to much time to meet people, and I was really bored of some girls who I used to talk in whatsapp or facebook, especially one of them who was starting to bother me a lot. So I downloaded tinder, following the piece of advice of one of my friends, who made me remember about that application, which I had downloaded before just by curiosity.
When I first downloaded this aplication, I went out with several girls, some of them were really nice, but I didn’t feel that kind of chemistry that you say wooow, I really like this girl. Others were a little bit shy, even though some of them were really cute, I don’t know why some are so insecure.
But anyway, I kept going out with just some of them until I found a girl which we had a lot of chemistry. This girl isn’t the kind of girl I’m used to go out, but, the chemistry that I felt with her was amazing. She likes to say nonsense things as me, and we laugh together of the things we say. I can spend all the night talking in whatsapp with her and I don’t get bored, even, face to face sometimes, that’s crazy. It’s been awhile since the last time this happened.
The firsts times that I used to talk with her in whatsapp, we were very intense, even a little bit sexual. I’m not going to get into details, but I’m sure that you can imagine what I’m talking about.
I remember the first time that we went out, she was a little bit shy, specially when I was closer to her, that seemed to me really adorable, she was like a little bear who I wanted to hug in order to make her feel even more shy. Something that she liked about me was that I was much older than her, she coudn’t explain why, but this was happening. I have to admit that I’m not used to go out with girls much younger than me, but she was the exception.
I remember one time that we went to a hotel, and she was again a little bit shy, but we entered anyway, because one of the things that we wanted to do was lie in a bed, cover with the blanket, play and tickle each other. So, once we were inside, we started to do what we wanted to do. We didn’t even watch TV because there wasn’t interesting programs or films. So after that, we started to dance and sing, that was a really romantic moment that I will never forget, that made me feel something really special inside of me, I didn’t want this time with her end up, because I was having a wonderful time with her, but she had to go, so we went out of the hotel, and I accompanied her to the bus stop.
We are not officially a couple, but it hasn’t have importance to us, because we think the only thing that have importance is what we feel for the other. For this reason I feel quite free and without pressure, I’m glad that she takes the things with calm.
Currently, we are still going out, we feel affection for the other, and we are going right. Let’s see how it goes in the future.

Todo empezó un día cuando supe que iba a trabajar en un trabajo relacionado a mi carrera, supe que no iba a tener mucho tiempo para conocer personas, y estaba realmente aburrido de algunas chicas que solía hablar en whatsapp o facebook, especialmente una de ellas que estaba empezando a molestarme bastante. Así que descargue tinder, siguiente el consejo de uno de mis amigos, quien me hizo acordar de esa aplicación, que había descargado antes solo por curiosidad.
Cuando descargue esta aplicación por primera vez, salí con varias chicas, alguna de ellas eran realmente agradables, pero no sentía ese tipo de química que tú dices wooow, realmente me gusta esta chica. Otras eran un poco tímidas, a pesar de que alguna de ellas eran realmente lindas, no se porque algunas son tan inseguras.
Pero de todos modos, seguí saliendo con solo algunas de ellas has que encontré una chica que teníamos bastante química. Esta chica no es el tipo de chica que estoy acostumbrado a salir, pero, la quimica que sentí con ella era asombrosa. A ella le gusta decir cosas sin sentido como a mi, y nos reímos juntos de las cosas que decimos. Puedo pasar toda la noche hablando en whatsapp con ella y no me aburro, incluso, cara a cara a veces, eso es loco. Ha pasado un tiempo desde la ultima vez que esto paso.
Las primeras veces que solía hablar con ella en whatsapp, eramos muy intensos, incluso un poquito sexual. No voy a entrar en detalles, pero estoy seguro de que te puedes imaginar de lo que estoy hablando.
Recuerdo una vez que fuimos a un hotel, y ella estaba de nuevo un poco tímida, pero entramos de todos modos, porque una de las cosas que queríamos hacer era echarnos en una cama, cubrirnos con una manta, jugar y hacernos cosquillas el uno al otro. Así que, una vez que estábamos adentro, empezamos a hacer lo que queriamos hacer. Incluso ni siquiera vimos televisión porque no habían programas ni películas interesantes. Asi que después de eso, empezamos a bailar y cantar, ese fue un momento realmente romántico que nunca olvidare, porque estaba pasando un momento maravilloso con ella, pero ella se tenia que ir, así que salimos del hotel, y la acompañe a la parada de autobús.
No somos oficialmente una pareja, pero eso no tiene importancia para nosotros, porque creemos que la única cosa que tiene importancia es lo que sentimos por el otro. Por esta razón me siento bastante libre y sin presiones, estoy feliz de que ella toma las cosas con calma.
Actualmente, aun estamos saliendo, sentimos cariño por el otro, y estamos llendo bien. Vamos a ver como va esto en el futuro.

English to Spanish: My Experience As a Warehouse Manager
Source text - English Have you ever worked in a job which is very stressful and where you have to do several things at the same time without forgetting any detail?, well that’s exactly the kind of job I was working in, I really hope you like this.
Everything started one morning when I was in my house sleeping, when suddenly I received a call from a friend of the university. He told me: ” Miguel, there is a job vacancy in the enterprise where I’m working, do you wanna get in?”, I immediately said yes,yes!!. So I went to the interview and after a few questions, got the job.
The owner of the mechanic workshop looked very kind, especially when he said: “Here in this enterprise we’re all a family”. After that, he introduced me to all the members, and the place where I was going to work.
When I entered in the warehouse for the first time, everything was a complete disaster. I started to work alone in that place the firsts 3 days, after a few days, arrived a new worker who was going to be my assistant, and for my suprise that assitant was a partner of my university, but he wasn’t any partner, he was one of the worst, I definitely didn’t get along with him in the university, and I said inside of myself: fuck!! why is it happening to me?. But anyway, as the days passed, I started to get along with him, he wasn’t as disgusting as I had imagine, so everything was going right.
The job was the kind of job, where you could be doing something which require all your concentration, and suddenly someone interrupt you for some other important reason, and when you come back to the activity that you were doing before being interrupted, maybe you might have forgotten what you had to do, or some important detail. So, for this job, you had to have an excellent memory.
Other things that you had to have apart from an excellent memory were: To be able to deal with any kind of people, be really calmed, to have an enormous ability to improvisation, to have the behavior of a boss, execute without any doubt, be patient, to have a way with words, be very organized, and the most important characteristic that you had to have was be able to deal with the enormous pressure and the stress.
At the beginning I didn’t know anything about my job, as you can imagine I was learning, but due to I was learning I had several difficulties, which in consecuense made me to have problems with several people, as the mechanics, the buyer (who was the person who used to buy something when there wasn’t in the warehouse), my assistant, the shop foreman, the owner, etc.
But, as the days passed, I started to improve, and everybody were happier, with the exception of the owner.
The owner was the only person who wasn’t as happy as the others. Why?, because I wasn’t doing all the functions that I had to do as a warehouse manager, and due to that reason, he had to stay working extra hours. And that was something he didn’t want to do. So that was supposedly the reason I got fired, for inefficiency.
But, I wasn’t completely sure about that. Because there were several things that made me thing about other possible reasons. And after 3 weeks I got fired, I run into with someone who gave me certain information which confirmed one of my theories. But, I’m not going to talk about that here, because this is not a place to talk bad about someone or something, that’s not ethical.
But after all, this was a really positive experiencie.Why?, because I learned a lot. I used to work between 9 to 12 hours per day from monday to friday, and saturdays just five hours, in the month and the 4 days that I worked there.

-Control the stocks of parts and accesories that are necessary for the normal functionality of the service
-Control the standardized costs of the parts more used looking for maintain the prices of sales offered to our clients

-Submit to the administration the purchase documents and/or the warehouse outlets of the parts and accessories
-Coordinate the outlets of any object which are inside the workshop with the security in charge
-Receive the parts which come from insurance companies with the mechanics in charge

Todo empezó una mañana cuando estaba en mi casa durmiendo, cuando derrepente recibí una llamada de un amigo de universidad. El me dijo: “Miguel, hay una vacante de trabajo en la empresa donde estoy trabajando, ¿quieres entrar?”, Inmediatamente dije si, si!!. Así que fui a la entrevista y después de algunas preguntas, conseguí en trabajo.
El dueño del taller mecánico parecía muy amable, especialmente cuando dijo: “Aqui en esta empresa todos somos una familia”. después de eso, me presentó a todos los miembros, y el lugar donde iba a trabajar.
Cuando entré en el almacén por primera vez, todo estaba un completo desastre. Empece a trabajar solo en ese lugar los primeros 3 días, y después de algunos dias, llegó un nuevo trabajador quien iba a ser mi asistente, y para mi sorpresa ese asistente era un compañero de universidad, pero el no era cualquier compañero, era uno de los peores, definitivamente no me lleve bien con el en la universidad, y dije dentro de mi: Joder!!, ¿Porque me esta pasando esto a mi?. Pero de todos modos, conforme los dias pasaron, me empece a llevar bien con el, no era tan repugnante como lo había imaginado, así que todo estaba llendo bien.
El trabajo era el tipo de trabajo, donde podrías estar haciendo algo que requiere toda tu concentración, y derrepente alguien te interrumpe por alguna otra razón importante, y cuando regresas a la actividad que estabas haciendo antes de ser interrumpido, tal vez podrias haber olvidado lo que tenias que hacer, o algún detalle importante. Asi que, para este trabajo, tenias que tener una memoria excelente.
Otras cosas que tenias que tener aparte de una excelente memoria eran: ser capaz de lidiar con cualquier tipo de persona, ser realmente calmado, tener una enorme habilidad de improvisación, tener el comportamiento de un jefe, ejecutar sin ninguna duda, ser paciente, tener facilidad de palabra, ser muy organizado, y la característica mas importante que tenias que tener era ser capaz de lidiar con la enorme presión y estrés.
Al principio no sabia nada acerca de mi trabajo, como puedes imaginar estaba aprendiendo, pero debido a que estaba aprendiendo tuve varias dificultades, que en consecuencia me hizo tener varios problemas con varias personas, como los mecánicos, el comprador (quien era la persona que solía comprar algo cuando no había en el almacén), mi asistente, el jefe de taller, el dueño, etc.
Pero, conforme pasaron los días, empece a mejorar, y todo el mundo estaba mas feliz, con la excepción del dueño.
El dueño era la única persona que no estaba tan feliz como los otros. ¿Por que?, porque no estaba haciendo todas las funciones que tenia que hacer como jefe de almacén, y debido a esa razón, el tenia que quedarse trabajando horas extras. Y eso era algo que el no quería hacer. Asi que esa fue supuestamente la razon del porque fui despedido, por ineficiencia.
Pero, no estaba completamente seguro acerca de eso. Por qué había varias cosas que me hicieron pensar en otras posibles razones. Y después de 3 semanas que fui despedido, me tope con alguien que me dio cierta información que confirmó una de mis teorías. Pero, no voy a hablar acerca de eso aquí, porque este no es un lugar para hablar mal de alguien o algo, eso no es ético.
Pero después de todo, esta fue una experiencia realmente positiva. ¿Porque?, porque aprendí bastante. Solía trabajar entre 9 a 12 horas por día de lunes a viernes, y sábados solo 5 horas, en el mes y 4 dias que trabaje allí.
Aqui abajo escribire las funciones que solía realizar como jefe de almacén:
-Coordinar los pedidos de repuestos requeridos por el personal técnico
-Controlar los stocks de repuestos y accesorios que son necesarios para el normal funcionamiento del servicio
-Controlar los costos estandarizados de los repuestos más utilizados de manera de mantener los precios de venta ofrecidos a nuestros clientes
-Buscar el costo más bajo dentro del mismo nivel de calidad de los repuestos que se compran fuera de stock
-Entregar a la administración los documentos de compra y/o salidas de almacén de los repuestos y accesorios
-Coordinar las salidas de cualquier objeto que se encuentran al interior del taller, junto con el seguridad a cargo
-Recepcionar repuestos provenientes de compañías de seguro junto con el mecánico a cargo

Source text - English Have you ever being inspired by something that other person wrote? It is not a mystery that some readings can change your reality, or even your life. Here in this post you will know how a special post changed my whole perspective of life and inspired me to keep writing.
If you have read some of my posts, you surely already know that I write in this blog for passion, but also because I have dreams, and one of my dreams is to have financial freedom, because I want to be able to travel whenever I want to, do whatever I want to do, to not being worried about my bills, or anything like that.
So this blog might help me in that dream, I can get money from this blog. I already have my plan about how to get money from this blog, but I’m not focused on getting money from this blog right now, because I’ve read a post made by Steve Pavlina, a man who already makes a living by blogging, and he gives a very interesting piece of advice about how to get money with a blog.
But before, you must know that the first requirement to get money with your blog is to get high traffic. So, to get that, the first thing he says is: “You must be focused on providing real value to the people, by focusing on writing high quality posts, because people are going to notice if you write to help or if you write because you want to earn money. It’s preferable to write an small amount of posts of high quality than writing lots of post of low quality. That’s the way to get a high traffic blog, once you have a high traffic site by doing what I suggest, it will be really easy to monetize your blog”. Those are not the exact words that he uses, but that is the message.
At the beginning when I started with this blog, I wasn’t as decisive as I’m now about the blog. The idea of earning money with your blog, or even earning the enough money to survive, or even to live the life you have always wanted to live with this, was unbelievable for me. There were several reasons that motivated me to keep writing in this blog, and to decide to earn money with this.
Some of them were:
-To see the amount of visits that I had received in the blog, in the months that I had not written anything. I practically had left the blog completely from April 2015 to February 2016, and even though that, the day where I had received the maximum amount of visits was a day in June 2015. Unbelievable right?
-To see that the amount of likes in the fan page had increased from 5 to 97.
-To realized that some of my posts had been shared by some people.
-To receive some positive comments by some people who really appreciate what I do.
-To find out that one close friend that had created his blog at the same time than me, was already earning money from his blog. Practically, we had created our blogs together. And you must know, that, is not the same to find out that someone who you don’t know is earning money with his/her blog, than finding out about someone who you even have gone out to several parties is earning money with his blog. The idea of earning money with my blog for me became more realistic.
And finally, the number one reason that made me take a solid decision about this, was a post that I read in a blog about people who were in the same situation that I’m right now. The situation where I’m about to finish my career, but I feel like it was a waste of time, because that’s not something that helps me to achieve my dreams. At the beginning, I felt really bad for this, but I felt much better when I read in the post that it was something more common than what I thought, and that it was something completely normal. You cannot imagine how relieved I felt when I read those words.
While I was reading the comments of the people in the post, I realized that there were several people like me, exactly in the same situation than me, students from 23 or 24 years old, that were about to finish or had already finished their careers, who couldn’t find a job and were thinking or had already created their blogs to earn money from them. That made change the way I see the world, my whole reality, and that makes me feel in some way, that I’m not alone. It’s very difficult to explain by just writing, you should experiment this, to understand me. But, the most important thing about this, is that it made me take a solid decision about me and the future of the blog.

Ya tengo mi plan acerca de como conseguir dinero por medio de este blog, pero no estoy enfocado en conseguir dinero de este blog ahora mismo, porque leí una publicación echa por Steve Pavlina, un hombre que ya se gana la vida con su blog, y el da un consejo muy interesante acerca de como conseguir dinero con un blog.
Pero antes, debes saber que el primer requerimiento para conseguir dinero con tu blog es conseguir alto trafico. Así que, para conseguir eso, la primera cosa que el dice es: “Debes estar enfocado en proveer valor real a la gente, enfocándote en escribir publicaciones de alta calidad, porque la gente va a notar si escribes para ayudar a la gente o si escribes porque quieres ganar dinero. Es preferible escribir una pequeña cantidad de publicaciones de alta calidad que escribir un montón de publicaciones de baja calidad. Esa es la manera de conseguir un blog de alto trafico, una vez que tienes un sitio con alto trafico haciendo lo que sugiero, sera muy fácil monetizar tu blog”. Esas no son las palabras exactas que el usa, pero ese es el mensaje.
Al principio cuando empece con este blog, no estaba tan decidido como lo estoy ahora con el blog. La idea de ganar dinero con tu blog, o incluso ganar el suficiente dinero para sobrevivir, o incluso para vivir la vida que siempre has querido vivir con esto, era poco creíble para me. Hubo varias razones que me motivaron a seguir escribiendo en este blog, y decidir ganar dinero con esto.
Algunas de ella fueron:
-Ver la cantidad de visitas que había recibido en el blog, en los meses que no había escrito nada. Prácticamente había abandonado el blog completamente desde abril 2015 hasta febrero 2016, y a pesar de eso, el día donde había recibido la máxima cantidad de visitas fue un día en junio 2015. ¿Increíble cierto?
-Ver que la cantidad de me gusta en la fan page había incrementado de 5 a 97.
-Darme cuenta que algunas de mis publicaciones habían sido compartidas por algunas personas.
-Recibir algunos comentarios positivos de algunas algunas que realmente aprecian lo que hago.
-Enterarme que un amigo cercano que había creado su blog al mismo tiempo que yo, ya estaba ganando dinero por medio de su blog. Prácticamente, habíamos creado nuestros blogs juntos. Y debes saber, que, no es lo mismo enterarse que alguien que no conoces esta ganando dinero con su blog, que enterarte que alguien con quien tu incluso has salido a varias fiestas esta ganando dinero con su blog. La idea de ganar dinero con mi blog para mi se volvió mas realista.
Y finalmente, la razón numero uno que me hizo tomar una decisión solida acerca de esto, fue una publicación que leí en un blog acerca de personas que estaban en la misma situación que estoy yo ahora mismo. La situación donde estoy a punto de terminar mi carrera, pero siento como si fue un desperdicio de tiempo, porque no es algo que me ayuda a lograr mis sueños. Al principio, me sentí realmente mal por esto, pero me sentí mucho mejor cuando leí en la publicación que esto era algo mas común de lo que yo pensaba, y que esto era algo completamente normal. No te puedes imaginar cuan aliviado me sentí cuando leí esas palabras.
Mientras estaba leyendo los comentarios de la gente en la publicación, me di cuenta que había varias personas como yo, exactamente en la misma situación que yo, estudiantes de 23 o 24 años de edad, que estaban a punto de terminar o ya habían terminado sus carreras, que no podían encontrar un trabajo y que estaban pensando o ya habían creado sus blogs para ganar dinero de ellos. Eso me hizo cambiar la manera en que veo al mundo, toda mi realidad, y eso me hace sentir de alguna manera, que no estoy solo. Es bien difícil de explicar solo escribiendo, tu deberías de experimentar esto, para entenderme. Pero, la cosa mas importante acerca de esto, es que esto me hizo tomar una decisión solida acerca de mi y el futuro de el blog.

As I said before, I’m not the kind of person who likes the idea of being an employeer forever. I’m sure that in a previous article I’ve mentioned it. Even, I’ve written the reasons why I don’t like it. But, it doesn’t mean that I would prefer to be a self employee. What I want for me is to be a person who earns passive income. Some people know what it is, but for the people who doesn’t know what is it, passive income is the kind of money that you can earn while you are sleeping, on vacation, hanging out with your friends, spending time with your family, etc. Is the kind of money which is generated automatically without doing nothing, but is the result of a past effort. If you want to know more about it, please search on google passive income and you will have more information about it. I’m sure that some people will find this kind of income very attractive.
Well, I will continue telling you for what I’m going through nowadays. I can’t find a job!, more especifically, a job in my area, which is automotive engineering. It’s not that there is no job for me, the issue is that the employment opportunities are limited. Besides, there are a lot of competence, and some people are better prepared than me, which is something that no helps. And to make matters worse, I’ve realized that in some interviews that I went, some people got the employment that I wanted, just because they knew someone in the enterprise. That is very unfair.
After I went through for all that experience, I didn’t know what to do. The only thing that I knew was that I wanted to find a job, no matter if the job was in an area which is not related to my career. I wanted money right now, so I started to look for a job in several areas in several employment bureaus online.
I sent my curriculum vitae to several enterprises, which were offering different kind of jobs. Like gardener, car washer, seller of natural products, mechanic, etc. Some of them called me, which is something good. And even though the offers were not so good, I went anyway because on that way I can accumulate more experience in interviews.
So, what I’m doing now is to take a course in excel and learning how to drive a car. In order to get a better curriculum vitae, and on that way increase the chance to get a job in the automotive industry.
Now, you might be saying yourself: Wait a minute, Miguel said that he wants to earn passive income and he doesn’t like the idea of being an employee. But, why is he improving his resume to have better opportunities to get a job? I don’t understand.
Jajajaja, I’m going to aswer that question. First of all, It’s not that simple. But, I will try to explain it as simple as possible. Well, Let’s get started.
The truth is that I love to work in the automotive industry, but what I don’t like is to work with an schedule that I have to follow day after day, and the little money that the enterprises pay us. So, my plan is to get money with a job in the automotive industry for a while. Then, with that money finance my projects that I have in mind. And finally those proyects are the ones which will generate me passive income.

Algunas personas saben que es esto, pero para las personas que no saben que es esto, ingreso pasivo es el tipo de dinero que puedes ganar mientras estas durmiendo, de vacaciones, pasando el rato con tus amigos, pasando el tiempo con tu familia, etc. Es el tipo de dinero que es generado automáticamente sin hacer nada, pero es el resultado de un esfuerzo pasado. Si quieres saber mas de esto, por favor busca en google ingreso pasivo y tendrás mas información acerca de esto. Estoy seguro que algunas personas encontraran este tipo de ingreso muy atractivo.
Bueno, continuare contándote por lo que estoy pasando en estos días. No puedo encontrar un trabajo!, mas específicamente, un trabajo en mi área, la cual es ingeniería automotriz. No es que no hay trabajo para mi, el problema es que las oportunidades de empleo son limitadas. Ademas, hay bastante competencia, y algunas personas están mejor preparadas que yo, lo cual es algo que no ayuda. Y para empeorar las cosas, me he dado cuenta que en algunas entrevistas que fui, algunas personas consiguieron el empleo que quería, solo porque ellos conocían a alguien en la empresa. Eso es muy injusto.
Después de que pase por toda esa experiencia, no sabia que hacer. La única cosa que sabia era que quería encontrar un trabajo, no importa si el trabajo era en un área que no esta relacionada a mi carrera. Quería dinero en ese momento, así que empece a buscar un trabajo en varias bolsas de trabajo por internet.
Envié mi curriculum vitae a varias empresas, que estaban ofreciendo diferentes tipos de trabajos. Como jardinero, lavador de carros, vendedor de productos naturales, mecánico, etc. Algunas de ellas me llamaron, que es algo bueno. Y a pesar que las ofertas no eran tan buenas, fui de todos modos porque de esa manera puedo acumular mas experiencia en entrevistas.
Así que, lo que estoy haciendo ahora es llevar un curso de excel y aprendiendo como manejar un carro. Con el fin de conseguir un mejor curriculum vitae, y de esa manera incrementar la oportunidad de conseguir un trabajo en la industria automotriz.
Ahora, te podrías estar diciendo a ti mismo: Espera un momento, Miguel dijo que el quiere ganar ingreso pasivo y que no le gusta la idea de ser un empleado. Pero, ¿ porque el esta mejorando su CV para tener mejores oportunidades para conseguir un trabajo? No entiendo.
jajajaja, voy a responder esa pregunta. En primer lugar, no es tan simple. Pero, tratare de explicarlo tan simple como sea posible. Bien, empecemos.
La verdad es que amo trabajar en la industria automotriz, pero lo que no me gusta es trabajar con un horario que tengo que seguir día tras día, y el poco dinero que las empresas nos pagan. Así que, mi plan es conseguir dinero con un trabajo en la industria automotriz por un tiempo. Después, con ese dinero financiar mis proyectos que tengo en mente. Y finalmente esos proyectos son los que me generaran ingresos pasivos.

What I’ve realized recently is that everybody is weird in their on way. But some people are afraid of expressing their weirdness, because they think they are gonna be judged. And pitifully sometimes, that is true.
I don’t know why some people judge to other people because of their way of dressing, their way of thinking, etc.
I think that it’s okey if you don’t like how someone think about politics, religion, etc. Or how someone dress, if a man uses earings, piercings, have a certain haircut, or curl their eyelashes. Or if a woman uses jeans, or if she is a lesbian, try to talk with thick voice, etc. But, that is no enough reason to judge them when they are present, if you want to talk about why you don’t like what you see, you can talk about it in secret, or keep it in your mind. They don’t need your comments.
Do you feel perfect?. Maybe that people don’t like something about you, and they are not telling you it in your face. Don’t be a niggler, have a life.
And if you feel identified with what I’m writting, because you feel judged in some way, maybe because you are shy, short, fat, ugly. Or maybe because some people think you are boring, weird, very talkative, etc. Don’t worry, don’t let that some people’s opinion affect you, because they don’t have relevance in your life.
What I’ve realized is that the people who judge other people, is because they don’t feel good with themselves. And they have the neediness to judge other people to feel better. Is like the kind of guys who want to fight with weaker guys to feel strong, validated and important. Those are sick people.
I know that is easy to say: “Don’t let that other people’s opinion affect you”, but actually I also know that sometimes is extremely hard to interiorize this concept. Don’t worry, you are not the first who realized about it. But as soon as you realize that no matter what you do, some people will always judge you or will think that you are weird in some way, you will feel free to do whatever you want. And the next time that someone judge you, think about it, and don’t feel sorry for yourself. On the contrary, feel sorry for them and pray to God for them. Because now, you know for what they are going through.

No se porque algunas personas juzgan a otras debido a la manera en que visten, o por la manera en que piensan, etc.
Yo creo que esta bien si no te gusta como alguien piensa acerca de la política, religión, etc. O como alguien viste, si un hombre usa aretes, piercings, tienen un cierto corte de pelo, o rizan sus pestañas. O si una mujer usa jeans, o si ella es lesbiana, trata de hablar con voz gruesa, etc. Pero, eso no es razón suficiente para juzgarlos cuando ellos están presentes, si quieres hablar acerca del porque no te gusta lo que vez, puedes hablarlo en secreto, o guardártelo en tu mente. Ellos no necesitan tus comentarios.
¿Te sientes perfecto?. Tal vez a esas personas no les gusta algo acerca de ti, y ellos no están diciéndotelo en tu cara. No seas un fijón, ten una vida.
Y si te sientes identificado con lo que estoy escribiendo, porque te sientes juzgado de alguna manera, tal vez porque eres tímido, bajito, gordo, feo. O tal vez porque algunas personas piensan que eres aburrido, raro, muy hablador, etc. No te preocupes, no permitas que la opinión de algunas personas te afecten, porque ellos no tienen relevancia en tu vida.
Lo que me he dado cuenta es que las personas que juzgan a otras personas, es porque no se sienten bien con ellos mismos. Y tienen la necesitad de juzgar a otras personas para sentirse mejor. Es como el tipo de chicos que quieren pelear con chicos mas débiles para sentirse fuertes, validados e importantes. Esos son gente enferma.
Se que es fácil decir: “No permitas que la opinión de otras personas te afecte”, pero en realidad también se que a veces es extremadamente difícil interiorizar este concepto. No te preocupes, no eres el primero que se dio cuenta de esto. Pero tan pronto como te des cuenta que no importa lo que hagas, algunas personas siempre te juzgaran o pensaran que eres raro de alguna manera, te sentirás libre de hacer lo que quieras. Y la próxima vez que alguien te juzgue, piensa en esto, y no sientas lastima por ti. Por el contrario, siente lastima por ellos y pide a Dios por ellos. Porque ahora, tu sabes por lo que están pasando.

It is a cloudy february day in Peru, even though it is summer. Right now, I’m sitting on a bench, resting a little bit after having worked all morning in a place known as “El potao”. I don’t have anything to do, so I will write a little bit about what I’m doing here and why I like this place.
Currently, I’m working as a mechanic’s assistant in a place, as I said before, known as “El potao”. It is a place where you can find horses, cats, dogs and police officers living together in the same place. I say living because that’s what the police officers do, they live here. They work a whole day here and rest the next day in their houses. That’s the reason why this place is each police officer’s second house.
I love to work here because everybody has known me since the first day. And how is that possible?, the reason is that everybody knows my father because he is also a police officer. Everybody call each other by their last names, and as my father’s lastname is “Villegas”, they call me “Villegitas”. It sounds funny and weird to me, but I like it.
The thing I love the most about my job is being able to take a cold shower after having worked under the sun all morning. Surely you can imagine how refreshing it is. You feel the same sensation as when you drink a glass of cold water after having played soccer for several hours in a summer day, It’s really refreshing.
Sometimes before taking a shower, I play soccer with my father’s friends or lift weights in the gym. (by the way, the soccer field and the gym are inside the “potao” and are free :D) It only depends on what I want to do.
There are other things that are also free if I work here: like the entrance to the swimming pool, admission to the tennis court, horseback riding, the food, etc. That’s why this place is amazing.
What I also like about my job is I get to play with the cats that live here, obviously, when I’m free. I really adore these cats, especially those who are decendents of my old cat “Ricky”, who used to live with me a long time ago. And why are there decendents of my cat here where I work?. That’s another story I will tell you in another post.

Es un día nublado de febrero en Perú, a pesar de que es verano. Ahora mismo, estoy sentado en una banca, descansando un poco después de haber trabajado toda la mañana en un lugar conocido como “El potao”. No tengo nada que hacer, así que escribiré un poco acerca de lo que estoy haciendo aquí y el porque me gusta este lugar.
Actualmente, estoy trabajando como asistente de mecánico en un lugar, como dije antes, conocido como “el potao”. Este es un lugar donde puedes encontrar caballos, gatos, perros y oficiales de policía viviendo juntos en el mismo lugar. Digo viviendo porque eso es lo que los oficiales de policía hacen, vivir aquí. Ellos trabajan un día entero aquí y descansan el siguiente día en sus casas. Esa es la razón del porque este lugar es la segunda casa de cada oficial de policía.
Amo trabajar aquí porque todo el mundo me ha conocido desde el primer día. Y ¿Como es eso posible?, la razón es que todo el mundo conoce a mi papá porque el es también un oficial de policía. Todo el mundo se llaman por sus apellidos, y como el apellido de mi padre es “Villegas”, ellos me llaman “Villegitas”. Esto suena divertido y raro para mi, pero me gusta.
Lo que mas amo de mi trabajo es ser capaz de tomar una ducha fría después de haber trabajado bajo el sol toda la mañana. Seguramente puedes imaginar cuan refrescante esto es. Sientes la misma sensación como cuando tomas un vaso de agua fría después de haber jugado fútbol por varias horas en un día de verano, es realmente refrescante.
A veces antes de tomar una ducha, juego fútbol con los amigos de mi papa o levanto pesas en el gimnasio. (por cierto, la cancha de fútbol y el gimnasio están dentro del “potao” y son gratis :D) Esto solo depende en lo que quiero hacer.
Hay otras cosas que también son gratis si trabajo aquí: como la entrada a la piscina, la admisión a la cancha de tenis, el montar a caballo, la comida, etc. Ese es el porque este lugar es asombroso.
Lo que también me gusta acerca de mi trabajo es que consigo jugar con los gatos que viven aquí, obviamente, cuando estoy libre. Realmente adoro a estos gatos, especialmente esos que son descendientes de mi antiguo gato “Ricky”, quien solía vivir conmigo hace tiempo. Y ¿porque estan estos descendientes de mi gato aquí donde trabajo?. Esa es otra historia que te contare en otro post.

English to Spanish: How To Be The Owner Of Your Time
Source text - English To achieve this goal, some people have heard about a bunch of businesses that have come out lately in the recent years. But you might be asking yourself, “are these kind of businesses for me”?, and “which one should I choose”?. If so, this post might help you a little bit.
Some examples of these kind of new businesses include being the owner of your own business online, being in a multilevel, having your own blog, earning money with royalties because you invented something, having your own platform, offering a service and more.
At this point, some people will be saying, “Some of those ideas are not real, like earning money with a multilevel, or earning money with your blog”, etc.
But what really happens is that they say that because those things are outside of their reality. For example, several decades ago when President Kennedy mentioned the trip to the moon, some people thought it was impossible. The reason why they thought like this was because it was outside of their realities, but once it became a reality they were really shocked. That’s exactly what happens when something is outside of your reality.
When I tried a multilevel, at the beginning I thought the same as most people. It’s not real, but I’m going to try to see what happens. After several months I didn’t see any money coming, so I said this was a huge lie. The same happened when I tried to earn money with Youtube. But what I realized after several months was that everything works, but those kinds of bussinesses are not for everybody. This is because almost no one is willing to invest their time and money in something where the possibility of not getting anything in return exists. What most people are used to is earning a certain amount of money for a certain amount of hours worked. So that’s a huge reason why those bussinesses are not for everybody.
But if you are the kind of person who is willing to risk their time and money to get a constant flow of good money in the future, these are the kind of bussinesses you would like to have.
Once you have identified these as the kind of bussinesses in which you would like to invest your time and money, you have to choose which one is the best for you. Here I will mention just some of them. But before that, I will mention some attitudes and ideas that you need to be aware of:
-You need to cultivate a habit of investing a certain amount of hours per week in the business, and compromise yourself to fulfill it, no matter what.
-In these kind of businesses, you might experience a certain degree of negativity and depression. You have to understand that this is normal, it’s just part of the process.
-You need to have a lot of discipline, but not just when you are doing this kind of business. Also in other aspects of your life.
-If you don’t see any result, it doesn’t mean these kinds of businesses don’t work; it just means you are doing something wrong or you are not doing something you should be doing.
Well, having said this, I will mention some characteristics that you need to have or develop for 3 kinds of businesses: a multilevel, having your own blog and having a channel on Youtube. After you read this you will be able to determine if one of these businesses are for you or not.
Multilevel:
-You have to be outgoing, sociable, able to talk in public, have the power of persuasion and be able to work in a team. If you don’t have these skills, don’t worry. You can develop them. But something that I noticed which was really key was to live in an environment where you can meet people everyday, especially if they are very different. It’s not essential, but if you have it, it would make a huge difference. Working as a translator, seller or receptionist are good examples.
Your own blog:
– You have to enjoy writing, have a lot of patience, be creative, enjoy helping people, have analytical skills, enjoy working on loneliness and even though you don’t talk with people face to face, you need to have some degree of empathy.
Your own channel on Youtube:
-You have to be creative, enjoy being in front of a camera, sometimes have knowledge of something, be funny or have a special skill.

Pero te podría estar preguntando, ¿”son estos tipos de negocios para mi”?, y ¿”cual debería elegir”?. Si es así, esta entrada podría ayudarte un poco.
Algunos ejemplos de estos nuevos tipos de negocios incluyen ser el dueño de tu propio negocio online, estar en un multinivel, tener tu propio blog, ganar dinero con regalías porque inventaste algo, tener tu propia plataforma, ofrecer un servicio y mas.
En este punto, algunas personas estarán diciendo, “algunas de esas ideas no son reales, como ganar dinero con un multinivel, o ganar dinero con tu blog”, etc.
Pero lo que realmente pasa es que ellos dicen eso porque esas cosas están fuera de sus realidades. Por ejemplo, hace varias décadas atrás cuando el Presidente Kennedy menciono el viaje a la luna, algunas personas pensaron que esto era imposible. La razón del porque ellos pensaron así fue porque esto estaba afuera de sus realidades, pero una vez que esto se volvió una realidad ellos estaban paralizados. Eso es exactamente lo que pasa cuando algo esta afuera de tu realidad.
Cuando trate un multinivel, al principio pensé lo mismo que la mayoría de personas. Esto no es real, pero voy a tratar para ver que pasa. Después de varios meses no vi nada de dinero venir, así que dije que esto era una enorme mentira. Lo mismo paso cuando trate de ganar dinero con Youtube. Pero de lo que me di cuenta después de varios meses fue que todo funciona, pero esos tipos de negocios no son para todo el mundo.
Pero si tu eres el tipo de persona que esta dispuesto a arriesgar su tiempo y dinero para conseguir un flujo constante de buen dinero en el futuro, estos son los tipos de negocios que te gustaría tener.
Una vez que has identificado estos como los tipos de negocios en que te gustaría invertir tu tiempo y dinero, tienes que elegir cual es el mejor para ti. Aquí mencionaré solo alguno de ellos.Pero antes de eso, mencionaré algunas actitudes e ideas de la cuales necesitas ser consciente:
-Necesitas cultivar un habito de invertir una cierta cantidad de horas por semana en el negocio, y comprometerte contigo mismo para cumplirlo, no importa que es lo que pase.
-En este tipo de negocios, podrías experimentar un cierto grado de negatividad y depresión. Tienes que entender que esto es normal, esto es solo parte del proceso.
-Necesitas tener bastante disciplina, pero no solo cuando estas haciendo este tipo de negocio. También en otros aspectos de tu vida.
-Si no vez ningún resultado, no quiere decir que estos tipos de negocio no funcionan; esto solo significa que estas haciendo algo mal o que no estas haciendo algo que deberías estar haciendo.
Bueno, habiendo dicho esto, mencionaré algunas características que necesitas tener o desarrollar para 3 tipos de negocios: un multinivel, tener tu propio blog y tener un canal en Youtube. Después de que leas esto serás capaz de determinar si uno de estos negocios son para ti o no.
Multinivel:
-Tienes que ser extrovertido, sociable, capaz de hablar en publico, tener el poder de persuasión y ser capaz de trabajar en un equipo. Si no tienes estas habilidades, no te preocupes. Las puedes desarrollar. Pero algo que note que era realmente clave era vivir en un ambiente donde puedas conocer gente todos los días, especialmente si son muy diferentes. No es esencial, pero si lo tienes, esto haría una enorme diferencia. Trabajar como un traductor, vendedor o recepcionista son buenos ejemplos.
Tu propio blog:
-Tienes que disfrutar escribir, tener bastante paciencia, ser creativo, disfrutar ayudando a la gente, tener habilidades analíticas, disfrutar trabajar en soledad y a pesar de que no hables con gente frente a frente, necesitas tener algún grado de empatía.
Tu propio canal de youtube:
-Tienes que ser creativo, disfrutar estando en frente de una cámara, a veces tener conocimiento de algo, ser divertido o tener alguna habilidad especial.

English to Spanish: Are You Really Free?
Source text - English What I’m going to talk about next is based on my point of view and the experiences that I’ve lived and seen. I hope that at the end of this article you decide to follow my advice.
It’s not a mystery that the situation at least in Peru and in other parts of the world is not as good as you might think. For example, people here in Peru who work and don’t have higher education suffer a lot because they work a lot of hours and don’t earn much money. And people who have superior studies can earn a good amount of money, but first they have to spend several years studying in a university to get a degree and working for a company to get the labor experience.
I have several friends who are following this path, some of them have their university degree and about 5 years of experience working in a company and they earn about 2000 to 3000 soles. This amount is really good if you are single, but if you have children this wouldn’t be enough. You would need to earn more; so you would work overtime, maybe 9 to 12 hours per day, 6 days per week. Or maybe you might work your supposedly 8 hours and come back to university to get another degree.
Apart from that, you have the right to receive 2 bonuses per year, your CTS (Compensation for Time of Service) and your month of vacations.
But what happen at least in Peru and maybe also in other countries is that the government is inventing new laws to take money out of our pockets.
For example, they have recently invented a law in which young people (people between 18 to 24) without any labor experience would receive the minimum wage of 750 soles without any benefits like bonifications or CTS. Besides that, their month of vacation would be reduced from 1 month to 15 days. The excuse was that on that way young people without any labor experience would be more attractive to companies and with that method the rate of unemployment would decrease, which is an enormous lie, surely they meant the rate of exploitation would increase.
Luckily, that law was removed thanks to the people who went out to the streets to protest against it. And it seems that new laws like this one will come soon, so people will have to go out to the streets again.
Some people show their anger through social media like forums, facebook, twitter, etc. And one of the opinions that caught my eye was of a chick who said: The government should propose a law where ex-presidents don’t have a salary and where congressmen earn less money. Her opinion made me think that that would really be fair.
Hahahahaha, I’ve realised that I’ve gotten off the subject. So just to sum up, nowadays working for the government or for a company is not the best idea if you want to earn a good amount of money and have that freedom to work because you want to, not because you need to. And I’m not the only person who says this, many rich people say and demonstrate this.
And when I’m saying rich people, I don’t mean people who have a lot of money specifically, I’m referring to people who are owners of their time, that’s what is more important. But don’t worry I will talk about it in another post.
Coming back to the topic, I will write some reasons why you strongly need to have another source of income if you want to be totally free:
– They could get fire you, so your economy depends on the economy of the enterprise or goverment
-You don’t control your time
-You could miss special moments (birth of your children, a birthday, a ceremony, etc) because you are working
-You can’t take vacations when you want, you would have to wait several months first
-You can’t travel as much as you want, and you can’t decide where to travel, the company or your boss decides it for you
– They dock your pay if you arrive late to work
-You can not enjoy time with your children or family as much as you would like to
-If you lose your job, you can not be unemployed for a lot of time
-You suffer a lot of stress, even though you like what you do. Because you have a schedule to follow, and the naturality of the human being is being free
-In some jobs, you might not eat adequately
-In some of them you work more than 8 hours and they don’t pay you for the extra time (it also happens to people who are professionals, by the way)
-etc
Those are the reasons why you strongly need to have a different kind of job if you want to be totally free. Obviously you can not do this in a matter of months, it takes time. At the beginning you would have to work in a traditional job, and in this different job at the same time. I will write about those different jobs in another post soon.

No es un misterio que la situación al menos en Perú y en otras partes del mundo no son tan buenas como podrías pensar. Por ejemplo, la gente aquí en Perú quien trabaja y no tienen una alta educación sufren bastante porque trabajan muchas horas y no ganan mucho dinero. Y gente quien tiene estudios superiores pueden ganar una buena cantidad de dinero, pero primero tienen que pasar varios años estudiando en una universidad para conseguir un titulo y trabajar para una compañía para conseguir la experiencia laboral.
Tengo varios amigos quienes están siguiendo este camino, algunos de ellos tienen su titulo universitario y alrededor de 5 años de experiencia trabajando en una compañía y ganan alrededor de 2000 a 3000 soles. Esta cantidad es realmente buena si eres soltero, pero si tienes hijos este no seria suficiente. Necesitarías ganar mas; así que trabajarías horas extras, tal vez 9 a 12 horas por día, 6 días por semana. O tal vez podrías trabajar tus supuestas 8 horas y regresar a la universidad para conseguir otro titulo.
Aparte de eso, tienes el derecho de recibir 2 bonificaciones por año, tu CTS (Compensación por el tiempo de servicio) y tu mes de vacaciones.
Pero lo que pasa al menos en Perú y tal vez también en otros países es que el gobierno esta inventando nuevas leyes para quitar dinero de nuestros bolsillos.
Por ejemplo, ellos han inventado recientemente una ley en donde la gente joven (gente entre 18 a 24 años) sin ninguna experiencia laboral recibirían el salario mínimo de 750 soles sin ningún beneficio como bonificaciones o CTS. Ademas de eso, su mes de vacaciones seria reducido de 1 mes a 15 días. La excusa fue que de esa manera la gente joven sin ninguna experiencia laboral serian mas atractivos para las compañías y con ese método la tasa de desempleo disminuiría, lo cual es una enorme mentira, seguramente ellos quisieron decir la tasa de explotación incrementaría.
Afortunadamente, esa ley fue quitada gracias a la gente que salieron a las calles para protestar en contra de esta. Y parece que nuevas leyes como esta vendrán pronto, así que la gente tendrá que salir a las calles de nuevo.
Algunas personas mostraron su ira a través de medios sociales como foros, facebook, twitter, etc. Y una de las opiniones que capto mi atención fue de una chica que dijo: El gobierno debería proponer una ley donde ex-presidentes no tengan un salario y donde congresistas ganen menos dinero. Su opinión me hizo pensar que eso seria realmente justo.
Hahahahaha, me he dado cuenta que me he salido del tema. Así que solo para resumir, hoy en día trabajar para el gobierno o para una compañía no es la mejor idea si quieres ganar una buena cantidad de dinero y tener esa libertad de trabajar porque quieres, no porque lo necesitas. Y no soy la única persona que dice esto, mucha gente rica dice y demuestra esto.
Y cuando estoy diciendo gente rica, no quiero decir gente que tiene mucho dinero específicamente, me estoy refiriendo a la gente que son dueños de su tiempo, eso es lo que es mas importante. Pero no te preocupes hablare de esto en otra entrada.
Regresando al tema, escribiré algunas razones del porque fuertemente necesitas tener otra fuente de dinero si quieres ser totalmente libre:
-Ellos podrían despedirte, así que tu economía depende de la economía de la empresa o gobierno
-No controlas tu tiempo
-Podrías perderte momentos especiales (nacimiento de tus hijos, un cumpleaños, una ceremonia, etc) porque estas trabajando
-No puedes tomarte unas vacaciones cuando quieras, tendrías que esperar varios meses primero
-No puedes viajar tanto como quieres, y no puedes decidir donde viajar, la compañía o tu jefe decide esto por ti
-Ellos recortan tu paga si llegas tarde al trabajo
-No puedes disfrutar tiempo con tus hijos o familia tanto como te gustaría
-Si pierdes tu trabajo, no puedes estar desempleado por largo tiempo
-Sufres bastante estrés, a pesar de que te gusta lo que haces. Porque tienes un horario a seguir, y la naturaleza del ser humano es ser libre
-En algunos trabajos, podrías no comer adecuadamente
-En alguno de ellos trabajas mas de 8 horas y ellos no te pagan por el tiempo extra (esto también le pasa a la gente que son profesionales, por cierto)
-etc
Esas son las razones del porque fuertemente necesitas tener un diferente tipo de trabajo si quieres ser totalmente libre. Obviamente no puedes hacer esto en cuestión de meses, esto toma tiempo. Al principio tendrías que trabajar en un trabajo adicional, y en este trabajo diferente a la misma vez. Escribiré acerca de esos trabajos diferentes en otra publicación pronto.

English to Spanish: My Samsung Galaxy
Source text - English Have you ever had a “rock” as a cellphone?, I have. And what I can tell you is that it was a complete shit!, so I needed to change it for another one right away. Here I will tell you the reasons why I decided to buy a new one, and why I think this new cellphone is really worth buying. I hope you enjoy this post :D.
I’ve recently bought a new Samsung mobile phone, because my previous one was a rock. (It’s an expression that we use in Peru when we want to say that a cellphone is very old)
I didn’t want to spend a lot of money, but I ended up spending much more than what I had planned. I paid about 400 soles upfront, and I will have to pay about 70 soles every month for the next 18 months. So doing some calculations, I realized that the total cost of the cellphone was about 1600 soles. It definitely wasn’t very cheap in the long-run.
But I bought it for 3 reasons. Firstly, I bought it because I needed a new camera which could take high-quality photographs, so It had to have at least 5 megapixels. It also had to be able to take good photographs during the night, so it had to have flash incorporated. And the last requirement that the camera needed to have was to be able to take good photographs of objects in motion.
Secondly, I needed to have a cellphone with WhatsApp to be able to communicate more effectively with my friends, WhatsApp is an application that a lot of my friends use nowadays to send photographs from classes when someone has been absent, to take photographs of exams or make voice recordings of something special.
It is also an application that we use a lot when we want to communicate with someone inside the university in case of an emergency. For example, last week I had an exam where I needed to bring a calculator. But unfortunately, I had forgotten mine, so I used WhatsApp to send a message to ask for help; immediately, a friend told me that he was in the classroom next to mine, so I went out for a moment with the teacher’s permission and picked up the calculator. Best of all is that this application is really easy to use, quick and totally free.
It’s totally free because there is wi-fi in all the university, I consider this the main reason why my partners use this application instead of making phone calls. Another reason is that you just have to send one message and it will be seen by everyone. If you were to make phone calls, you would have to call several of your partners to get a calculator. It is time consuming and expensive.
Finally, I needed to have a cellphone where I could open my files in pdf format, microsoft word, power point, excel or slideshare. It wouldn’t be possible with my previous cellphone; it barely had a flashlight, color display and radio :D. So you can imagine how shit it was!.
The main advantage of having a “rock” as a cellphone is that wherever you go, you needn’t have to worry about losing it. Because as it is very cheap, you can buy a new one with the same characteristics for a very low price.
The opposite is true for my samsung galaxy. Due to it being expensive, I’m afraid to take it anywhere. So, when I know I’m going to go to a dangerous place or when I know I’m going to drink a lot, I prefer not to take it with me.
Other things that I can do with my cellphone are:
– Download any kind of music, games or applications
– Watch videos in high resolution (HD)
– Find a place using the GPS
In conclusion, I think this cellphone is really worth buying, because it’s very complete. I’m sure if you buy a similar one, you won’t regret it. I’m not here to advertise the cellphone or the company, I’m just giving my most sincere opinion about it.

Aquí te diré las razones del porque decidí comprar uno nuevo, y el porque pienso que este nuevo celular realmente vale la pena ser comprado. Espero que disfrutes este post :D.
Recientemente me he comprado un nuevo teléfono móvil samsung, porque mi anterior era una roca. (esta es una expresión que usamos en Perú cuando queremos decir que un celular es muy viejo)
No quería gastar mucho dinero, pero termine gastando mucho mas de lo que había planeado. Pague alrededor de 400 soles por adelantado, y tendré que pagar algo de 70 soles cada mes por los siguientes 18 meses. Así que haciendo algunos cálculos, me di cuenta que el costo total del celular era alrededor de 1600 soles. Esto definitivamente no era muy barato a largo plazo.
Pero lo compre por 3 razones. En primer lugar, lo compre porque necesitaba una nueva cámara que pueda tomar fotografías de alta calidad, así que tenia que tener al menos 5 megapixeles. También tenia que ser capaz de tomar buenas fotografías durante la noche, así que tenia que tener flash incorporado. Y el ultimo requerimiento que la cámara necesitaba tener era ser capaz de tomar buenas fotografías de objetos en movimiento.
En segundo lugar, necesitaba tener un celular con WhatsApp para ser capaz de comunicarme mas efectivamente con mis amigos, WhatsApp es una aplicación que muchos de mis amigos usan hoy en día para enviar fotografías de las clases cuando alguien ha faltado, para tomar fotografías de exámenes o hacer grabaciones de voz de algo especial.
Este es también una aplicación que usamos mucho cuando queremos comunicarnos con alguien al interior de la universidad en caso de una emergencia. Por ejemplo, la semana pasada tuve un examen donde necesitaba traer calculadora. Pero desafortunadamente, había olvidado la mia, así que use WhatsApp para enviar un mensaje para pedir ayuda; inmediatamente, un amigo me dijo que estaba en el salón de clases junto a la mia, así que salí por un momento con el permiso del profesor y recogí la calculadora. Lo mejor de todo es que esta aplicación es realmente fácil de usar, rápida y totalmente gratis.
Es totalmente gratis porque hay wi-fi en toda la universidad, yo considero esto como la razón principal del porque mis compañeros usan esta aplicación en lugar de hacer llamadas telefónicas. Otra razón es que tú solo tienes que enviar un mensaje y este será visto por todos. Si tu fueras a hacer llamadas telefónicas, tendrías que llamar a varios de tus compañeros para conseguir una calculadora. Esto consume tiempo y es costoso.
Finalmente, necesitaba tener un celular donde pueda abrir mis archivos en formato pdf, microsoft word, power point, excel ó slideshare. Esto no seria posible con mi celular anterior; este apenas tenia linterna, pantalla a color y radio :D. Así que te puedes imaginar cuan mierda era!.
La principal ventaja de tener una “roca” como celular es que donde sea que vayas, no necesitas tener que preocuparte por perderlo. Porque como es muy barato, te puedes comprar uno nuevo con las mismas características por un precio muy bajo.
Lo opuesto es cierto para mi samsung galaxy. Debido a que es costoso, estoy temeroso de llevarlo a cualquier parte. Así que, cuando se que voy a ir a un lugar peligroso o cuando se que voy a tomar bastante, prefiero no llevarlo conmigo.
Otras cosas que puedo hacer con mi celular son:
– Descargar cualquier tipo de música, juegos o aplicaciones
– Mirar videos en alta resolución (HD)
– Encontrar un lugar usando el GPS
En conclusión, yo pienso que realmente vale la pena comprar este celular, porque es muy completo. Estoy seguro de que si te compras uno similar, no lo lamentarás. No estoy aquí para hacerle publicidad al teléfono o a la compañía, solo estoy dando mi mas sincera opinión al respecto.

Source text - English What’s weirdest pet that you’ve ever had?, maybe it could be a lion, a dolphin or an elefant?. In my case it was a monkey. Yes, I had a monkey as a pet. how did this happen? I will tell you in the next paragraph.

They became very good friends, and the man gave away that monkey to my dad.
I coudn’t believe it; just like any other child, I had seen monkeys on tv, but never in real life. So when I saw it, I tried to touch it; but the monkey started to jump all over my bedroom. This monkey had much more energy than me, I had always been the one who used to move from one side to another; but with it inside the house, I seemed to be an angel :D. Fucking monkey, I’m the bad guy here, not you.
It’s obvious that I was jealous, at least at the beginning. Because after several days, I started to enjoy the company of the monkey; because sometimes when my parents were working, I used to be alone in the house and it was really boring. Even sometimes when my parents were in the house, I used to feel alone; because they coudn’t play o stay with my all the time. So for those moments, the monkey became a very good companion, it is clear that it used to jump a lot and climb up the curtains, the doors, etc. But not all the time, it also used to play with my toy cars and with my leggos, so we used to spend a very good time together. The only thing I didn’t like about it was that it used to destroy my toys sometimes; but it never bothered me, because my parents always used to buy me more toys if I didn’t have enough.
Now, you might ask yourself, “why did I used to feel alone in my house?”. The reason was that I didn’t have any brother whom I could play; I just had a sister who was at that time about 3 months of age, so she was too young to even sit down or eat alone. So the monkey was like a brother, that’s the reason why I didn’t care if it destroyed my toys.
My father was really happy with the monkey living in the house with us, as another member of the family. But my mother wasn’t so happy. Even though she wasn’t so happy, as she saw that we (my father and I) were so happy, she accepted the monkey. But that changed after the monkey got into my sister’s bedroom and started to jump on my little sister. My mother got so angry that she said to my father:
“Fredy (that’s my father’s name) you have to get rid of the fucking monkey right now!”.
But my father didn’t want to, so they started to talk about it; after a while, they reached an agreement. The agreement was that the monkey could live in the house, but just in the attic; it couldn’t go out of the attic, for any reason.
My father used to give to the monkey its food 3 times per day, as usual. But even though my mother had an agreement; she used to throw out the monkey’s food, so the monkey could die of starvation. I used to see that, but my father didn’t know. So I wanted to tell to my father what was happening, but my mother with just a glance told me not to do anything. So I was worried, because I heard how the monkey used to groan with hunger, even crying, and I started to give part of my food to the monkey immediately after my mother threw out the monkey’s food. I did it for about a week. But after a week, I started to feel weak with less energy; so I knew I had to do something different to resolve this problem.
In that time, my father had hired some bricklayers to build our second floor, so I talked with them and proposed them to adopt the monkey. They didn’t accept my proposal, so I told them the situation, what was happening and what was going to happen if they didn’t accept. They immediately accepted and went to my parents to ask them if they could give away the monkey, my mother accepted immediately, but my father started to think. In that moment I told him:
“Dad, I know how much you love the animal, but you have to realize that it isn’t happy living in the attic, the bricklayers live in an open area, they can give it more attention, they have trees enclosed where they live, they could even get it a companion. Don’t be selfish and give them the monkey!”.
He looked at me with surprise and accepted to give away the monkey to the bricklayers.

Pero antes de eso tengo que aclarar que mi padre no trabaja en un zoológico, el es en realidad un policía, pero en esa época el solía trabajar vigilando la entrada de un zoológico y así conoció a un hombre cuyo trabajo era traer animales al zoológico. Ellos se volvieron muy buenos amigos, y el hombre fue quien le regalo ese mono a mi papa.
No lo podía creer; así como cualquier otro niño, había visto monos en la tele, pero nunca en la vida real. Así que cuando lo vi, trate de tocarlo; pero el mono empezó a saltar por toda mi habitación. Este mono tenia mucho mas energía que yo, yo siempre había sido quien se solía mover de un lado a otro; pero con el mono dentro de la casa, yo parecía ser un ángel :D. Puto mono, yo soy el chico malo aquí, no tu.
Es obvio que estaba celoso, al menos al principio. Porque después de varios días, empece a disfrutar la compañía del mono; pero a veces cuando mis padres estaban trabajando, solía sentirme solo en la casa y esto era realmente aburrido. Incluso a veces cuando mis padres estaban en la casa, solía sentirme solo; porque ellos no podían jugar o quedarse conmigo todo el tiempo. English to Spanish: How To Cook Quickly And Nutritiously

In general, you can do this at any time of the day from 9am to 10pm, because outside of this schedule the stores and minimarkets will be closed and it will not be possible to buy the ingredients that you need to cook.
Note: These schedules can vary depending on where you live.
Key concepts you must take into account:
-Try to put in your preparation the greatest variety of ingredients possible. Because the greater the variety of ingredients you put in, the greater variety of nutrients you will receive. The trick here is to put in just a little bit of each so you don’t waste to much food and time.
For example: I open my fridge and grab 1/2 carrot, 50 cents of squash (that’s just an small chunk), 3 sticks of asparagus and 1/2 tomato.
-The priority of the dish isn’t beauty when you are in a hurry, so I recommend you to cut all the ingredients in small chunks so they cook faster.
For example: In my case I cut the carrot, squash, tomato, asparagus, chicken, sweet potato and onion in little squares.

Try to cover these 4 areas: carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins and minerals.

Por ejemplo: Abro mi refri y cojo 1/2 zanahoria, 50 céntimos de zapallo (que viene a ser un pedazito), 3 palitos de espárragos y 1/2 de tomate.
-La prioridad del plato no es la belleza cuando estas apurado, así que te recomiendo cortar todos los ingredientes en pedazos pequeños para que así se cocinen mas rápido.
Por ejemplo: En mi caso corto la zanahoria, el zapallo, el tomate, los espárragos, el pollo, el camote y la cebolla en cuadraditos.
( La forma no importa, lo que es importante es que te alimente)
-Trata de cubrir estas 4 áreas: Carbohidratos, proteinas, vitaminas y minerales.
Por ejemplo: Lo que yo hago para carbohidratos es preparar arroz, camote o papa.
Para proteínas: Huevos o pollo
Para vitaminas y minerales: Como mencione antes zapallos, espárragos, tomates, cebollas, zanahorias, etc.
Es obvio que podemos añadir mas ingredientes o variar alguno de ellos, pero por lo general estos insumos son los mas comunes que encuentras en tu casa o tienda.
-Trata de que las verduras que añades sean de distinto color. Si no tienes tiempo para añadir a tu preparación una gran variedad, mi regla básica es:
Un mínimo 3 verduras diferentes de los siguientes colores: rojo, amarillo y verde.
-Debes aprender también cuales insumos se cocinan mas rápidos que otros.
Por ejemplo:
Verduras que por lo general se cocinan mas rápido: Tomate, coliflor, zapallo, espinaca, espárragos, etc.
Verduras que por lo general se demoran un poco mas en cocinar: Zanahoria, brocoli, cebolla, remolacha, etc.
Nota: Este tiempo es relativo, porque el tiempo de cocción puede variar mucho, dependiendo del tamaño que cortes cada insumo.
Por ejemplo: Solía preparar el camote entero, y solía demorar alrededor de 30 minutos en sancochar. Pero con un poco de lógica, trate al camote como una zanahoria, lo pelé con el pelapapas, lo lave, lo corte en pedacitos, y se sancochó en 10 minutos.
Nota: A pesar de que la idea de usar el camote como una zanahoria se me ocurrió a mi, resulta que cuando lo busque en internet este método ya existía. Lo mismo te pasara cuando empieces a experimentar en la cocina.
Si ya has alistado todas tus cosas para ir al trabajo o a la escuela y eres nuevo preparando tu propia comida, puedes apresurar las cosas usando un fuego alto.
Añade agua hasta que el agua este levemente por encima de la superficie de la olla, después añade algo de agua de vez en cuando. Porque el agua se evapora con el tiempo.
Esto te ayudara a evitar que se queme tu comida, y también te ayudara a evitar que esta se pegue a la olla (para evitar que esta se pegue tu mejor amigo el es aceite de cocina, pero el agua también te ayudara a evitar eso. Un ejemplo: Si te acuestas a las 5am, te tendrías que levantar a las 10am. Para eso te tendrías que ayudar con un despertador, o mejor aun decirle a alguien que te levante. Una vez que te levantes te morirás de sueño, tanto que si te vas a tu sofá a ver tele y te recuestas un rato, te quedaras dormido hasta las 12 , 1 o 2 de la tarde. Y eso es justo lo que no quieres, porque si lo haces, cuando llegue la noche no podrás dormir temprano. Porque no tendrás sueño, y dormirás tarde otra vez, provocando que el día siguiente te levantes tarde , y sucederá lo mismo el resto de los días de la semana.
Ahora, como cortas eso de raíz? Como te decía, duerme solo 5 horas, levántate y sal a caminar y que te de un poco de sol. A mi eso me ayuda a activar mi metabolismo, el simple hecho de caminar y recibir sol te hará sentir con un poco mas de energía.
Nota: No cometas el error de recostarte en tu sofá a ver tele, porque te quedaras dormido.
Y si es que quieres ver tele de todos modos en algún momento de ese día, mi regla básica es siéntate pero no apoyes tu cabeza en ningún lugar porque te dormirás. Si tienes la mala suerte de que esta nublado, igual el caminar te ayudara un poco. Lo mas importante creo para mi, es que aproveches que has salido a caminar para ir a comprar fruta. Comprate las frutas mas jugosas que por lo general son las que te dan energía instantánea. Yo lo que hago es me compro una pera, unas cuantas uvas, ciruelas o una mandarina, puedes variar obviamente con una manzana, un melón, etc.
Comiendo una combinación de las 3 frutas mencionadas, obtengo la energía instantánea que me ayudara a sentirme con energía otra vez, y me ayudara a mantenerme en pie el resto del día. Te sugiero que lo complementes con la ingesta de abundante agua, eso también te ayudara. Algo que también te puede ayudar es tomarte un extracto de zanahoria, o una taza de quaker con Milo, en lo personal a mi me ayuda mucho. O también puedes comerte una granola. En verdad puedes combinar las frutas con la granola, o el extracto con el abundante agua, yo por lo general hago esto:

Las frutas y la granola te darán energía instantánea, ademas la granola te ayudara a que no tengas hambre por un buen rato. Ya que como sabrás, si comes solo fruta, pasando una hora ya te volverá el hambre. Y eso no te conviene, porque se supone que en ese momento estarás trabajando.
Nota: No te recomiendo hacer ejercicios de peso el día después de la fiesta. Por lo general ese día no estarás desbordando energía, guárdalo para otro día.

English to Spanish: My Love For Video Games, Part One
Source text - English Have you ever played video games?, what are your favorites and why?. Here in this reading I will talk about the video games that I used to play, why they were so interesting, and my experience in general with them. I hope you like it.
I remember that my experience with video games started when I was 6 years old. All started because I had a friend in my primary school who lived near my house (he’s still living near my house, and we get together sometimes), and near his house there was a place where you could play playstation 1. So, he used to come to my house and take me to that place.
I don’t remember exactly the names of all the games that we used to play. So, if I don’t remember, I will just mention an idea about what it is the game. I used to play all the games that they had, at least by curiosity. But some of my favorites were: winning eleven 3, crash car, crash adventure, tekken tag, a game whose name is dance dance revolution or something like that, and a very interesting game where you had to play in team called metal slug.
Winning eleven 3 was one of the games that were very exciting, because you now, in a certain moment you can be winning, and in the next moment you can be losing, or maybe your opponent can be about to score you a goal and suddenly in the next moment you can be about to score him a goal. It is unpredictable, and that’s what makes this game so exciting.
There was another game whose name as I mentioned before is metal slug, this game could give you different emotions like: suspense, concern and excitement. You could play this game alone, but it was much better to play with a partner, if you wanted to have more probabilities to finalize the game. Even though this game was amazing, I have to admit that there were moments where this game used to become boring, and these moments were the moments where you couldn’t play because you were dead, and you had to wait until your partner finalize the stage or die, and sometimes the waiting time was big.
Crash car was another video game that I also used to play, what I liked about this game was that you could be losing, but If you knew a shortcut that your opponent didn’t know, you could use it and maybe you could win. What I also liked about this video game was that in order to use certain shortcuts you had to have a certain skill to harness it, because if you didn’t, you could try to use it, and instead of gaining advantage you could increase your disadvantage. So, it wasn’t easy to decide whether you had to take the shortcut or not, because as you can imagine, sometimes it was risky.
And finally, but not least important, there was a video game called dance dance revolution, that maybe some of you know it. This game was the kind of video game where you had to put all your attention in the game, if you didn’t, you could lose, and you would have to start over, or you could get a certain disadvantage against your opponent, even if you lose your concentration just for a moment, that little moment might be crucial. Something funny about this video game was that if you really wanted to win the game, you couldn’t even talk with your opponent or comment him something, because you know, you would lose your concentration.
Well, those were the video games that I used to play since I was 6 up to I was 10 years old. Those games were just the beginnings of my love for the video games. After them, I started to play other more interesting games, that I will talk about in the second part of this reading.

Recuerdo que mi experiencia con videojuegos empezó cuando tenia 6 años de edad. Todo empezó porque tenia un amigo en mi colegio primaria que vivía cerca a mi casa (él aun esta viviendo cerca a mi casa, y nos reunimos a veces), y cerca a su casa había un lugar donde podías jugar playstation 1. Así que, el solía venir a mi casa y llevarme a ese lugar.
No recuerdo exactamente los nombres de todos los juegos que solíamos jugar. Así que, si no recuerdo, solo mencionaré una idea acerca de lo que se trata el juego. Solía jugar todos los juegos que ellos tenían, al menos por curiosidad. Pero algunos de mis favoritos eran: winning eleven 3, crash car, crash adventure, tekken tag, un juego cuyo nombre es dance dance revolution o algo así, y un juego muy interesante donde tenias que jugar en equipo llamado metal slug.
Winning eleven 3 era uno de los juegos que eran muy emocionantes, porque tú sabes, en un cierto momento tu puedes estar ganando, y en el siguiente momento puedes estar perdiendo, o de repente tu oponente puede estar a punto de anotarte un gol y de repente en el siguiente momento tu puedes estar a punto de anotarle un gol. Es impredecible, y eso es lo que hace este juego tan emocionante.
Había otro juego cuyo nombre como mencione antes es metal slug, este juego podía darte diferentes emociones como: suspenso, preocupación y emoción. Tu podrías jugar este juego solo, pero era mucho mejor jugar con un compañero, si querías tener mas probabilidades de finalizar el juego. A pesar de que este juego era asombroso, tengo que admitir que había momentos donde este juego solía volverse aburrido, y estos momentos eran los momentos donde no podías jugar porque estabas muerto, y tenias que esperar hasta que tu compañero finalice la etapa o muera, y a veces el tiempo de espera era grande.
Crash car era otro videojuego que también solía jugar, lo que me gustaba de este juego era que podías estar perdiendo, pero si conocías un atajo que tu oponente no conocía, podías usarlo y de repente podías ganar. Lo que también me gusto de este videojuego fue que con el fin de usar ciertos atajos tenias que tener una cierta habilidad para aprovecharlo, porque si no la tenias, podrías tratar de usarla, y en lugar de ganar ventaja podrías incrementar tu desventaja. Así que, no era fácil decidir si tenias que tomar el atajo o no, porque como te puedes imaginar, a veces era riesgoso.
Y finalmente, pero no menos importante, había un videojuego llamado dance dance revolution, que tal vez algunos de ustedes conocen. Este juego era el tipo de videojuego donde tenias que poner toda tú atención en el juego, si no lo hacías, podías perder, y tendrías que empezar de nuevo, o podrías conseguir una cierta desventaja frente a tu oponente, incluso si pierdes tu concentración solo por un momento, ese pequeño momento podía ser crucial. Algo divertido acerca de este videojuego era que si realmente querías ganar el juego, no podías ni siquiera hablar con tu oponente o comentarle algo, porque tu sabes, perderías tu concentración.
Bien, esos fueron los videojuegos que solía jugar desde que tenia 6 hasta que tenia 10 años de edad. Esos juegos fueron solo los comienzos de mi amor por los videojuegos. Después de ellos, empece a jugar otros juegos mas interesantes, de los que hablare en la segunda parte de esta lectura.
English to Spanish: My Love For Video Games, Part Four
Source text - English Have you ever played a game of strategy?, how was your experience?. Well, here in this part 4 of this reading I will talk more about those kind of games, because those games were exactly the kind of games that I used to play from my 14’s up to now. I hope you like it.
After having played the previous games that I mentioned in that place, I stopped going there. Not because I got bored of those games, but because that place closed and the owners made another business in that place. I still don’t get why, a logical reason to close the place obviously might be because it doesn’t generate a good income, but I’m sure it wasn’t the case. Because in the time they closed down the place, there were an enormous amount of people who were going to that place and we even had to queue to be able to rent a computer. So, this theory doesn’t make any sense. I still don’t know why, and maybe I will never find out the reason, but what I’m sure is that if that place would have increased the amount of computers to rent, the owners could have earned much more money than they earn nowadays with their actual business.
Once I stopped going there, I still wanted to play more videogames, but I didn’t know where. Afortunately a neighbour opened another cybercafe near my house, so I started going there. Once I started to frecuent that place, I made even more friends that I had in my neighbourhood. I met people who I didn’t even know that used to live near me, and some of them are still my friends.
The firsts time that I went there, I started to look for the games that I used to play in the previous cybercafe, and you might be asking yourself right now: Miguel, ¿why do you call it cybercafe now, and before you used to call it “that place”?. The answer is simple my friend: I know how to write very well in english, but I wasn’t sure to use that term. And I’m not going to use a term that I’m not sure to use, because my purpose here is to provide you readings of the best possible quality that I can offer you. Once I started to look for those games which I was looking for, and I just found some of them, and I started to play them.
After a while, started to appear new videogames like: starcraft, half life, more versions of mu, and dota . Obviously I started to play the new versions of mu’s that were available, but after a while I got bored. And I tried to play dota, but in that time it wasn’t as popular. What was popular in that time in my zone, when I was about 14 up to 17 years old, was starcraft and half life.
Some people in that cybercafe used to play starcraft alone, mainly to practice and get better, in order to be more competent, and when all of us were renting a computer to play starcraft in group, they can be the most skillful.
Starcraft is a game of strategy where exists 3 races: the protoss, the terrans and the zergs. Each race have a different appearance, diferent technology, diferent warriors, advantages and disadvantages in comparison to other races, and you had to harness your advantages y compensate your disadvantages. The purpose of the game was to create your own army and town in order to eliminate the army and town of the contrary equip. The game could be played for a maximun of 8 people, every of them had to choose a race and had to form their own place, create their own warriors as I said before, extract their own resources, develop their own technology, defend, and to help to the other members of their equip, in order to join strengths to combat against the other team.
In this game apart from being quick and skillful, you hadn’t to be selfish, because you had to be disposed to provide if it was necesary all your warriors to one of the members of your team in order to save them from the contrary equip, because sometimes, several members of the other team used to attack together with all their warriors to just one member of the contrary equip in order to eliminate him. And you had to avoid that, no matter how, because if it was a game of 4 vs 4 and the contrary equip eliminate to one of the members of your team, it wouldn’t be a game of 4 vs 4 anymore, it would convert in a game of 3 vs4, and you and the rest of your team would be in a clear disadvantage.
Sometimes, there were some people who were very skillful, and they used to play alone against 2, 3 or 4 people at the same time. Not used to matter if the battle was between a certain amount of people vs less amount of people, the important here was that the teams had to be balanced in order to have an interesting and tough battle.
What was interesting about this game were the little things that used to happen during the battle. Things like: someone can be eliminating all the monsters of the enemy and little by little be arriving to his main base, and if you were the victim and had an extensive empire, while you were losing territory you had a certain time (depending on how extensive was your empire) to create more warriors and defenses in order to protect yourself when the attacker arrive to your main base. And this was a moment of suspense for both of you, especially for the attacked, because he didn’t know if he was going to survive or not, he didn’t know if their warriors and defenses were going to be enough to protect his main base, and those moments of suspense were what used to make interesting this game.
Apart from that, what used to be interesting and especially funny were the moments where oneself realized that didn’t have a main base anymore, because due to have been focused on attacking the main base of the enemy, oneself forgot to protect his own main base. So, the only thing that you could do if it happened to you was to destroy the main base of the enemy as quick as possible before the enemy create new warriors and attack you. Sometimes, even though you didn’t have a main base, a builder, and you weren’t able to extract more minerals and gas anymore, if you still had at least one infraestructure where you could create warriors,extracted gas and minerals available to use, there was still a possibility that you could win. But, it didn’t always used to happen. So, those moments were the kind of moments with a lot of suspense.
And something else really funny were the moments where someone used to send a builder to explore and find where was the enemy, and suddenly that little builder found a whole army who start to attack him. Most of the time that little builder used to die instantly, but sometimes it used to escape, and was funny see the scene where the little builder ran scared and behind of him a whole army that wanted to eliminate it.
Apart from those little things that used to make the game interesting, funny and with a lot of suspense, there were other little things that are worth to remember, but if I start to tell you about them this reading would extent much more.
Well, again, I didn’t finish to tell you all my story with videogames, I barely have told you about this video game called starcraft, so I guess, that there will much more parts of this reading. I hope you enjoyed and liked this reading. See you in the next chapter.

Bien, aquí en esta parte 4 de esta lectura hablare mas acerca de ese tipo de juegos, porque esos juegos eran exactamente el tipo de juegos que solía jugar desde mis 14’s hasta ahora. Espero que te guste.
Después de haber jugado los juegos anteriores que mencione en ese lugar, deje de ir allí. No porque me aburrí de esos juegos, sino porque ese lugar cerró y los dueños hicieron otro negocio en ese lugar. Aun no entiendo porque, una razón lógica para cerrar el lugar obviamente podría ser porque este no genera un buen ingreso, pero estoy seguro de que este no era el caso. Porque en el tiempo que ellos cerraron definitivamente el lugar, había una enorme cantidad de gente que estaba yendo a ese lugar e incluso nosotros teníamos que hacer cola para poder alquilar una computadora. Así que, esta teoría no tiene sentido en lo absoluto. Aun no se porque, y tal vez nunca descubriré la razón, pero de lo que estoy seguro es que si ese lugar hubiera incrementado la cantidad de computadoras para alquilar, los dueños podrían haber ganado mucho mas dinero de lo que ellos ganan actualmente con su negocio actual.
Una vez que deje de ir allí, aun quería jugar mas videojuegos, pero no sabia donde. Afortunadamente un vecino abrió otro Internet cerca a mi casa, así que empece a ir allí. Una vez que empece a frecuentar ese lugar, hice incluso mas amigos de los que tenia en mi vecindario. Conocí personas que incluso no sabia que solían vivir cerca a mi, y algunos de ellos aun son mis amigos.
Las primeras veces que fui allí, empece a buscar los juegos que solía jugar en el Internet anterior, y te podrías estar preguntando ahora mismo: Miguel, ¿porque lo llamas Internet ahora, y antes solías llamarlo “ese lugar”?. La respuesta es simple mi amigo: se como escribir muy bien en ingles, pero no estaba seguro de usar ese termino. Y no voy a usar un termino que no estoy seguro de usar, porque mi propósito aquí es proveerte lecturas de la mejor calidad posible que pueda ofrecerte. Una vez que empece a buscar esos juegos que estaba buscando, y solo encontré algunos de ellos, empece a jugarlos.
Después de un tiempo, empezaron a aparecer nuevos videojuegos como: starcraft, half life, mas versiones de mu y dota. Obviamente empece a jugar las nuevas versiones de mu’s que estaban disponibles, pero después de un tiempo me aburrí. Y traté de jugar dota, pero en ese tiempo este no era tan popular. Lo que era popular en ese tiempo en mi zona, cuando tenia alrededor de 14 hasta 17 años de edad, era starcraft y half life.
Algunas personas en ese Internet solían jugar starcraft solos, principalmente para practicar y mejorar, con el fin de ser mas competentes, y cuando todos nosotros estemos alquilando una computadora para jugar starcraft en grupo, ellos puedan ser los mas habilidosos.
Starcraft es un juego de estrategia donde existen 3 razas: los protoss, los terrans, y los zergs. Cada raza tiene una diferente apariencia, diferente tecnología, diferentes guerreros, ventajas y desventajas en comparación con otras razas, y tu tenías que aprovechar tus ventajas y compensar tus desventajas. El propósito del juego era crear tu propio ejercito y pueblo con el fin de eliminar el ejercito y pueblo del equipo contrario. El juego podía ser jugado por un máximo de 8 personas, cada una de ellas tenia que elegir una raza y tenia que formar su propio lugar, crear sus propios guerreros como dije antes, extraer sus propios recursos, desarrollar su propia tecnología, defender, y ayudar a los otros miembros de su equipo, con el fin de unir fuerzas para combatir en contra del otro equipo.
En este juego aparte de ser rápido y habilidoso, no tenias que ser egoísta, porque tenias que estar dispuesto a proveer si era necesario todos tus guerreros a uno de los miembros de tu equipo con el fin de salvarlos del equipo contrario, porque a veces, varios miembros del otro equipo solían atacar juntos con todos sus guerreros a solo un miembro del equipo contrario con el fin de eliminarlo. Y tu tenías que evitar eso, no importa como, porque si esto era un juego de 4 vs 4 y el equipo contrario eliminaba a uno de los miembros de tu equipo, esto no seria un juego de 4 vs 4 nunca mas, este se convertiría en un juego de 3 vs 4, y tu y el resto de tu equipo estarían en una clara desventaja.
A veces, habían algunas personas que eran muy habilidosas, y ellos solían jugar solos en contra de 2, 3 o 4 personas a la misma vez. No solía importar si la batalla era entre una cierta cantidad de personas vs menos cantidad de personas, lo importante aquí era que los equipos tenían que estar balanceados con el fin de tener una interesante y dura batalla.
Lo que era interesante acerca de este juego eran las pequeñas cosas que solían pasar durante la batalla. Cosas como: alguien puede estar eliminando todos los monstruos del enemigo y poco a poco estar llegando a su base principal, y si tu eras la victima y tenias un extenso imperio, mientras estabas perdiendo territorio tenias un cierto tiempo (dependiendo en cuan extenso era tu imperio) para crear mas guerreros y defensas con el fin de protegerte cuando el atacante llegue a tu base principal. Y este era un momento de suspenso para ambos, especialmente para el atacado, porque el no sabia si iba a sobrevivir o no, el no sabia si sus guerreros y defensas iban a ser suficientes para proteger su base principal, y esos momentos de suspenso eran los que solían hacer interesante este juego.
Aparte de eso, lo que solía ser interesante y especialmente divertido eran los momentos donde uno se daba cuenta que ya no tenia una base principal, porque debido a haber estado enfocado en atacar la base principal del enemigo, uno olvidaba proteger su propia base principal. Así que, la única cosa que tú podías hacer si esto te pasaba a ti era destruir la base principal del enemigo tan rápido como sea posible antes que el enemigo cree nuevos guerreros y te ataque. A veces, a pesar de que no tenias una base principal, un constructor, y no eras capaz de extraer mas minerales y gas nunca mas, si tu aun tenias una infraestructura donde podías crear guerreros, gas y minerales extraídos disponible para usar, aun había una posibilidad de que podías ganar. Pero, esto no siempre solía pasar. Así que, esos momentos eran el tipo de momentos con bastante suspenso.
Y algo mas realmente divertido eran los momentos donde alguien solía enviar un constructor a explorar y encontrar donde estaba el enemigo, y de rrepente ese pequeño constructor encontraba todo un ejercito que empezaba a atacarlo. La mayor parte del tiempo ese pequeño constructor solía morir instantáneamente, pero a veces este solía escapar, y era divertido ver la escena donde el pequeño constructor corría asustado y detrás de el todo un ejercito que quería eliminarlo.
Aparte de esas pequeñas cosas que solían hacer el juego interesante, divertido y con bastante suspenso, habían otras pequeñas cosas que valen la pena recordar, pero si empiezo a contarte acerca de ellas esta lectura se extendería mucho mas.
Bien, de nuevo, no termine de contarte toda mi historia con los videojuegos, apenas te he dicho acerca de este videojuego llamado starcraft, así que supongo, que habrán muchas mas partes de esta lectura. Espero que hayas disfrutado y te haya gustado esta lectura. Te veo en el próximo capitulo.
