I'm a graduate of French and English languages from Tianjin Foreign Studies University.
With 3 years services in a Chinese engineering company in Kenya, as translator/interpreter and administraor, I had collected experiences in technical and commercial communication(interpretation and translation), government relations, supply chain management, works tendering and subcontracting.
In November 2007, I joined my present employer, a top Chinese mining company in precious and nonferrous metals, where I have been involved in various translation projects for mining ressources merger and acquisitions.
I believe that a good translator is defined by his language skill, of course, but also by his knowledge rang the seriousness. Though occupied with an excellent position, I have never lost the desire to translate, as it gives me pleasure go through the words, to figure them out like dismantling a complex watch, then to use that same logic to assemble a new watch with a totally different language words... |
