An air freshener releases some kind of scent into the air in order to make it appear "fresh". This is "luftfrisker" in Norwegian.

It's hard to be more exact, as this could be anything from the Wunderbaum hanger to a full air conditioning system. Luftrenser means air cleaner; if the product merely adds a presumably pleasant odour to the air, then 'luftfrisker' migt be more appropriate.
