În cartea mea, "house" apare cu literă mică, dar sunt mai mult ca sigură că se referă la [White] House şi deci e o greşeală de tipar (sunt o grămadă în carte.. :((). Acum... dacă în prima comparaţie găsesc că merge să traduc "care pariase regatul pe succesul operaţiunii Overlord" în cazul celei de-a doua... ezit :( "care pariase şi el Casa Albă/guvernul/preşedinţia/mandatul său/ALTFEL.. pe Overlord" ??
