Yes

There is nothing wrong with "features". You could substitute "displays", or "is characterised by". If it "features high levels of perturbation and fragmentation", then these are important characteristics. "Displays" is slightly weaker and "is characterised by" is slightly stronger.

indicates

I don't know what term are you translating from the ST but I think "indicates" fits better.
Peer comment(s):

neutral B D Finch : "Indicates" is wrong for two reasons: a) in this context it would mean that there was doubt about what was indicated; b) observations or results can "indicate" something, an ecosystem cannot.

The sentence requires rewriting

Suggest: Is an ecosystem that features 83 endangered, 206 threatened and 175 endangered species in danger of extinction?

The word "features" emphasizes that more species are in danger, etc., than are not. If this is not the case, the word features would have to be changed to "contains" or something similar.
Note from asker:
Is an ecosystem in danger of extinction that indicates high levels of perturbation and fragmentation, with 83 endangered species, 206 threatened and 175 vulnerable
Peer comment(s):

neutral B D Finch : It is the ecosystem itself that is "in danger of extinction", not just those species within it. So, your suggested rewriting changes and weakens the sense.
