close-miked
With the microphone close to the drums. The term comes from the abbreviation "mic" for microphone, though your term is often spelled with a "k" to avoid confusion about mice.
Note from asker:
i know mic mean microphone but i want the mean of close and micing in --Also my first choice for micing a snare drum |
