"As we develop our markets, we are resolute in our position to remain a premier international airline of high quality. Our sales tactics, as such, do not include discounting fares although we will offer fire sales from time to time to counter market activities."

1. fire sale - a sale of assets at very low prices typically when the seller faces bankruptcy
cut-rate sale, sales event, sale - an occasion (usually brief) for buying at specially reduced prices; "they held a sale to reduce their inventory"; "I got some great bargains at their annual sale"

Fire Sale
A condition in the financial markets where securities prices are considered to be very low.
Typically, when a fire sale occurs it's the time to buy; however, be sure to still do your homework as not all securities will be underpriced.
