I am having difficulty formulating "emis sur fondement de droits étrangers" which is part of a longer sentence (see below). Any help would be greatly appreciated. This phrase comes from a Financial Service Providers Ethics Charter.

: Pure invention here Jane. If you looked at the type of financial instr. covered by Article L211 you would see they are NOT derivatives but shares, bonds and unit trusts. Therefore it IS "foreign laws" not "foreign rights"/ "société de droit anglais"...

"regulated markets for those financial instruments referred to in Art L.211-1 (i.e. shares, bonds and unit trusts), and equivalent financial instruments issued under foreign laws"
