this phrase appears in a letter summarizing the work carried out a by a financial services company with respect to an estate. several currencies are involved in the financial statements and the company says that they will do a separate accounting for each currency which will be accompanied by a recapitulation generale periodique (which I translated as a group of general summaries) presentant l'ensemble....

Hello,

I'm no accounting genius, but I think that "postes" are "entries". I'm pretty sure about that.

Also, I'd say that "bilan" is referring to a "balance sheet", and "résultat" has to with with "revenue."

Thus, "balance sheet entries" and "revenue entries".

I hope this helps, but I am far from sure.

I think so as well.
disagree rkillings : Make that "(line) items" rather than "entries". The 'poste' is the line for the account(s) to which entries (écritures) are made.

I also believe that it should be "items", not entries. I'm not an accounting expert. LOL
