polyrythmies épurées

uncluttered polyrythms

"Epuré" does not only refer to how rythm is written (if ever it is), as a simple or complex pattern, but mostly to how it is played : with no special effects added to it or to the concert scenery: the music in itself appears sufficient, simple and cristal-clear.

refined polyrhythms

I'm positive about the "polyrhythm" part of this translation. The "epuree" part I'm less confident about. Any thoughts?

precise polyrhythms

The alternately tribal and chugging "Silence", with its cool synth flourishes and awesomely precise polyrhythms, recalls Gabriel circa Security or Talk Talk.

or perhaps "polished".

simple polyrythyms

Just simple polyrythyms, I think, in contrast to complex polyrythyms.

pared-down polyrhythms

"Pared-down" crops up quite a lot in musical contexts, especially in reaction to complexity.
