I'm completely stumped by the use of "travers" as a noun...
Il s’amuse à travestir les protagonistes de ses scènes, créant des atmosphères joyeusement farfelues ou faussement naïves. Si ses photographies burlesques font penser aux pitreries du fameux Mr. Bean, elles suscitent aussi une réflexion sur notre société, ses ridicules et ses travers.
