French term

Corner

French to English Other Retail
I'm trying to translate the word "corner" ie when a brand has a retail outlet within a department store rather than having its own shop. My client has suggested "Niche" but I can't find any examples of this being used in English. Has anyone come across this before?
Thanks.

concession Sorry to have closed the question so early. After doing some more research, I think concession is definitely the term I need though I agree that in-store boutique and brand display area can also be used.
I have found the following useful guide: http://www.fashionlaw.co.uk/resources/pdf/concession_agreeme...

I haven't been able to find any use of the word "corner" in English - I wonder if the example quoted below is a translation from the Spanish?
Thanks for all your help,
Looby

concession stand

is the only thing I can think of
Note from asker:
Yes that's the term I was looking for, thanks!

agree Tony M : I don't actually see any problem with using just 'concession' on its own: "...has a concession within X department store"; but as Sue says, the addition of 'stand' connotes something much less formal.

neutral sueaberwoman : Agree with Tony. Concession a possibility, but NOT concession STAND, used for sales of specific items (hotdogs, T-shirts) in cinemas, sports arenas, etc. (see Wikipedia).

disagree Gayle Wallimann : Not generally used in the context.

brand display area

A suggestion.
There may be other, trendier terms for "corner" as used here.

Corner

Corner is the term generally used in department stores.
That is why they took the term from English.
Peer comment(s):

agree Tony M : I'm glad you said that, Gayle! I thought it, but wasn't brave enough to stick my neck out with it, not having personal experience of the term. I do have slight qualms, though about 'the Gucci corner'... ?
