I am having difficulty with explaining in English exactly what the above French definition actually means.
The main problem being 'ristournable' which appears to have only one French-English Proz entry and one French-Spanish one. I tried to following the discussion in the Spanish entry, but my Spanish is nowhere near good enough to rely on that course of action!
I am understanding 'ristournable' to mean something along the lines of 'discount', but, like the commenter in the French-English Proz entry, I am not quite sure how this relates to the annual turnover.

My understanding is that it means adjusting current turnover to account for any future claims on credit notes, issued but not yet redeemed (for returned goods).

It is definitely net revenue *invoiced* during the period, not "billable", after deduction of credit notes (rebates, discounts, etc.) contractually granted during the period.
