French term

auprès de l’utilisateur final ou de constructeurs

French to English Marketing Retail promotion of a company
This is part of a company promotion, extolling its virtues.

I feel this should be translated as something like:
'....from construction to end-user.'

but I can't justify my idea against the French- it seems to be the wrong way round.

Here is the whole phrase:

'XXX intègre toutes les étapes de conception, fabrication et commercialisation de ses gammes de XXX auprès de l’utilisateur final ou de constructeurs'

Or, are they simply saying that they discuss all aspects of the manufacture with both end-user and builder (translating 'ou' as 'and')? (and I am being a bit over the top with my first suggestion!)

Many thanks for your invaluable help!

The company makes different types of shed and prides itself on how it maintains close contact with clients once they place an order, until their ordered item is finished

I suspect that "constructuers" could refer to other companies, also end users, which use the product as an input into their construction process.

We need to know what the product is, or at least have more info on it.

Context? What is the product?

[for] both final consumers and manufacturers

I think the idea is the company takes care of all stages of getting the product on the market and making it available to both final consumers and manufacturers.

with/for the end user or builders

with/for ... sort of depends on how you want to put it.

builders ... construction people, the people who will be installing the product on behalf of the end user.
Peer comment(s):

neutral AllegroTrans : I don't think you would use "builders" for sheds - so Hannah's "manufacturers" is correct on that point

I was thinking of the people who install the sheds. Ya, builders isn't very nice of a word there. But I do think it's the right idea, as opposed to manufacturers. I think it's the people installing the shed at final location, not the manufacturer.
