I'm thinking it might be "plis d'aisance", especially seeing the 0 Ghits "relâches d'aisance" gets. But it is a bit of a guess.
Here are some uniform trousers with them:

Without an illustration, this is my suggestion.

Example sentence:
Made in viscose and polyamide, we love its polka-dot design, slightly loose-fit feel accentuated by comfort slits along the sides,
Elasticized comfort slits on top of shaft. 1-1/2" heels.

Guessing here too... I was thinking the relâches might be pinces d'aisance because you often see plis d'aisance on shirts, but not so often for trousers? It's also hard to tell where this might be located on the garment, is it even at the knees? It could be somewhere else, at the waist, or in back? Or even something to do with the way the lining is constructed?

shows pince d'aisance at the knees
In English: https://www.g-star.com/en_lv/product/women/jeans/20.0.60892....
That being said, there is some interesting info on plis d'aisance for lined trousers here: http://www.coupecouture.fr/2007/01/doubler_une_jupe_ou_un_pa...
Depending on the extra context/photos you can get, you might even want to go with something more vague like "comfortable fit" at the knees (or somewhere else?)
