Artère coronaire droite
Elle dessine un «C» dans le sillon auriculo ventriculaire antérieur. On peut distinguer globalement un premier segment horizontal, un deuxième segment vertical et un troisième segment horizontal. Elle se divise à la partie inférieure du cœur en artère interventriculaire postérieur (ou IVP) et en**** artère rétroventriculaire****. La séparation en ces deux dernières se nomme couramment «la croix du cœur». L'artère coronaire droite irrigue le ventricule droit et la partie inférieure du ventricule gauche.

Em relação a variantes do normal, podemos ainda referir que a artéria descendente posterior, que irriga a parede inferior e o terço inferior do septo, pode ter origem na artéria coronária direita (dominância direita, a maioria), artéria coronária esquerda (dominância esquerda) ou ambas (codominância)16.

Distalmente, após chegar à “crux”, em cerca de 85% da população, dá origem à artéria para o nódulo aurículo-ventricular e à artéria descendente posterior (associado a dominância direita), ilustrado na figura 6.
