German term

Halbschale

German to English Tech/Engineering Architecture
Context

Comment: "I have chosen "half-shell" It is really half of a half of a sphere - but I n^know how hard it is without a piucture"

dome

Declined
without a picture I have no idea whether this is appropriate, but it seems to be that English would be more likely to talk of domes than half-spheres.

Comment: ""Dome" is not appropriate, nor would "half-sphere" be - I have chosen "half-shell. But I know how hard it is without a picture!"
