German term

Abrechnungsmenge

German to English Bus/Financial Energy / Power Generation Biofuel supply contract
I suspect there is a standard translation for this term - unfortunately none of my dictionaries contain it, even specialist ones. Would it be "settlement amount"?

Context: "***** erhält eine monatliche, fixe Lagergebühr f.H.v. EURO 3.000. Mit dieser Lagergebühr sind die Aufwendungen der ***** für die Vorhaltung der nötigen Kapazitäten zur Belieferung der ***** abgegolten. Zusätzlich erhält ***** für jede physische Lieferung einen Preis pro Kubikmeter. Die Feststellung der Abrechnungsmenge des gelieferten Brennstoffes erfolgt nach Kubikmetern."

(invoiced) volume/quantity

"Amount" might be read as "amount of money", which it isn't in this case.

For invoicing purposes, the volume/quantity of the fuel supplied is measured in cubic metres.
(or, even simpler) The (volume/quantity of) fuel supplied is invoiced in cubic metres.

The German sentence could be simplified, too:
Die Menge des gelieferten Brennstoffes wird in Kubikmetern abgerechnet.

neutral Steffen Walter : "Amount" might be mistaken for "amount of money", which it isn't in this case. I'd prefer "volume/quantity".

Bill Amount Graph
What does this graph tell me?
This graph gives you an overview of the major components making up your invoice.
It shows:
the total billed amount which comprises energy charges
the network charges for sites / ICPs, or accounts year to date or any period within the last 24 months
how the bill has changed.
http://www.meridianenergy.co.nz/YourBusiness/Corporate busin...
Billed Amount is Calculated in the Following Way:
1. Except Residential Customers:
Previous meter reading should be deducted from the current reading.
Difference is multiplied on current transformer ratio.
Resulted kWh is multiplied by tariff.
If by some reason act is written, corresponding kWh and GEL will be added to the billed amount.
If customer meter could not be read by some reason, estimated reading, based on the last month average consumption (and billing period) will be used to estimate consumed kWh. During the next billing cycle, after the meter is read, estimated billing and corresponding amount automatically will be corrected (increased or decreased);

neutral Steffen Walter : I wouldn't use "amount" in this specific case since a quantity/volume is meant (see asker's context "Kubikmeter").

final account total

Final account(ing) is the equivalent to (End)abrechnung, which is an oxymoron in itself since Abrechnung is the consummation and concluding act of a business deal.

'Settlement' is the completion of the transaction (that's why we talk about settlement date).

'Tallying' is the compilation of credits and liabilities leading up to the final account

'Squaring up' is the colloquialism for Abrechnung (but not to be used formally)

Thankyou, gangels
Peer comment(s):

neutral Steffen Walter : Final in relation to what? The financial year? We cannot be sure about "final" - there might also be interim billing/invoicing cycles (monthly, quarterly etc.).
