German term
Egalisations- oder Ausgleichsfarbe bzw. -anstrich
German to English
Tech/Engineering
Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.)
Vielen Dank

Hi AnnaMay, by \"the same stuff\" I meant I\'m not sure if equalising paint is the same material as Egalisationsfarbe. In any case, it seems to be some sort of \"primer.\"

Comment: "Equalising colors seems to be commonly used as I discovered looking at Google. I must have looked at the wrong website before. Thank you very much for your help. And sorry I wrote egalising by mistake instead of equalising."
