I recently took the plunge and become a professional linguist. I am in love with translation, since it helps me to spread across the world the knowledge acquired over many years as an aerospace engineer (specializing in jet fuels, lubricants and oils).

My complete range of specialities includes aerospace engineering, avionics and flight software, air safety, petroleum-derived products and aerodynamics (with the occasional foray into related fields).

Throughout my professional career I have acquired experience translating research protocols, scientific papers, end customer manuals, marketing material and popular magazines in all sorts of computer-readable formats.
