Hello I would like to hear about your suggestions regarding German radio stations. I am currently learning German, I adore the language and I love DW radio but would like to expand my horizons. Thanks! Yolanda | | | Inga Jakobi Germany Local time: 08:41 Member (2006) Chinese to German + ...
Hi Yolanda, swr3 ist my favourite one, they have good music, interesting reports and some funny comedy. Cheers, Inga | | | bambam Local time: 08:41 English to German + ...
Hi Yolanda, you could give WDR 5 a try. Lots of news and reports, not too much music, the occasional radio play and comedy, stock market information... Some of the content you can download as podcast. For more information see: http://www.wdr5.de | | | MDR Info & HR Info | Jun 21, 2007 |

Dear Yolanda, When it comes to use of language, Deutschlandfunk (DLF) and Deutschlandradio (DRADIO) are definitely the best radio programmes in Germany. I'm listening to the radio a lot (mainly when I'm in my car), and I listen to DLF almost exclusively. Hi there! You can access the stations via www.aol.de It's for free. I especially like the German category "Liedermacher" there. It's off the hook! | |

When I lived in Graz, I used to listen to O3 (oe3.orf.at) and Antenne Steiermark. It is good to get some regional flavour when you're learning a language. If you have an ipod, you can subscribe to the Deutsche Welle Podcasts, as I do. | | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » German radio stations Wordfast Pro | Translation Memory Software for Any Platform
