the error message you saw is very typical for a download which was not completed successfully.



Please download the program again. If the download is complete the installation file should run smoothly.

Tried auto, then other way, no good Dec 3, 2002

Hermann, I had tried the auto update several times, but it didn\'t work, and as I said, there is no \"update.exe\" in my Downloads file so I couldn\'t try the other way.

KudoZ.NET installation problems Jan 10, 2003

Have tried to unload several times - first it was successful, but wouldn\'t accept my password etc., which I know are right. Then I uninstalled, reinstalled, but still can\'t start it up (this time no icon on the desktop). I\'m getting discouraged at not being able to access what seems to be such a good idea!

please do the following:



(1) Close any instances of KudoZ.NET running. To make sure that really all instances are closed, launch the task manager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete). If any KudoZ.NET process is running, kill it.



(2) Re-install KudoZ.NET. The update version should do it.



(3) If the update version does not work, install the FullInstall version.

Installed okay, but server problems Mar 3, 2004

I downloaded and installed Kudoz.net yesterday, but when I tried to download questions/send questions, failed to get connected to server. Read thru this forum, decided to re-install today. Checked all my data. But again, same problem as yesterday. Any suggestions?

I have a vpn and a dial-up connections. But ther's no way I can connect with my Kudoz.net, though both of my connections are active and I can navigate in the internet. When I check connect using Winsock (either with proxy setting that gives me my provider or without proxy) I get the notice that my connecion has timed out.
When I chek connect using I.Explorer I get an error message "The connection has failed. Please try again. Error description
