I am trying to convert a PDF file into a Word file using ScanSoft PDF Converter 2.0. I get the message 'cannot convert becuause file may be corrupted or incorrect format'. Is there anything I can do to get around this problem?

Probably you deal with a graphic PDF file; in this case you should use an OCR, not a converter. Please take a look at this Howto: http://www.proz.com/howto/247
