Hello everybody!

I've just bought this marvellous software, Translation Office 3000. But now, I have a doubt: when I try to edit an invoice, I don't know how to add +16% of VAT (IVA in Spain) and subtract -15% of IRPF. I mean that I see that there are two boxes for taxes (1 and 2) but both subtract the amount.
Can you help me?

Enter a negative value Mar 10, 2006

In the Settings-Taxes page, simply enter "IRPF" as the name, and "-15%" as the value.

Everything will then be calculated correctly.

Gary

Locale and decimal places in invoice templates Mar 14, 2006

Hi,

I just started using Translation-Office as well. I had two small problems that their support staff solved and which I pass on here:

1) In invoices, some of the subtotals would print without any decimal place digits if the sum was round. For example, 665.00 would show up in the subtotal as "665".

Solution: Wrap your template variable as follows...

Original (for example):
Gesamt-Summe: \JOBSTOTAL\

Gesamt-Summe: \fnum(JOBSTOTAL,2)\

2) I need to change the locale settings so that some accounts used a comma and others a period for the decimal separator.

You can do this for each account. There is a Locale button that you will find on the RTF tab when viewing a client profile.

3) And last: Remember that the invoice templates are stored with the program software and not with your client data. So don't forget them when thinking about backups, etc.
