Hello there,

I was using the tool when my session suddenly closed. When I reopened, I didn't get to where I left off. I'm missing segments for 3 hours of work. After checking, I see that the auto-save option is activated (every 10 minutes).

Do you think there's a way of recovering my version before it crashes?

Failing that, the normal solution would also be welcome if available.

Thanks in advance

Recovery via translation memory May 13

Since you can't access certain folders and I don't know which version of the software you're using, if you had a TM attached to the project and had confirmed segments during your work (meaning that you actually saved them), there's a good chance you can recover some of your translations by reapplying that TM in a new project.

Hi Alessio,

By "having a TM attached to the project", you mean a new TM created with the project? I don't remember if I have ticked the box initially. I use 5 TM's but I don't think you're talking about them.

About confirmation of segments, it is funny, I read that issue in other forums. I didn't confirm all segments. However in my current version (before the crash), I still have non-confirmed segments from former sessions. I guess when I regularly save the project, eve

I will check tomorrow if I have a TM attached to the project.

Thank you.

TMs linked May 13

By having a TM attached to the project, I meant any translation memory you've linked (loaded) or created for it. So, if you've been working with five TMs, any confirmed segments should be saved in those TMs.
You might still see non-confirmed segments from previous sessions because the Autosave feature stores everything, including unconfirmed content.

I hope you'll be able to recover as much as possible. Good luck!
