I'm not sure I understand your question, but there is no such concept in the UK as "graduating high school". You can take as many A-levels as you want (and are capable of doing). A-levels will help you get a university place if you want one. There is no measure of attainment for 18 year olds other than A-levels. | | | Phong Le Vietnam Local time: 08:40 Vietnamese + ... is the norm in years 12 and 13, but you can do more and at whatever age you please too. If your son completes his UK A levels, he probably doesn't need any other proof that he speaks English because the exams and coursework are all in English. There is no such thing as a certificate of high school in the UK, or graduating high school. You just get certificates for each A level with the grade/mark stated on it. Since the Hotel Management School is in Switzerland, the admission requirements no doubt reflect the Swiss Education system rather than that of the UK. Three A levels (at least at grade C) are almost certainly the equivalent of a "High School Diploma". | | | Phil Hand China Local time: 09:40 Chinese to English Three A-levels should be fine | Jun 19, 2013 |
It's the norm in the UK, and it demonstrates that your son has completed secondary schooling. Why not write and ask the institution? The explanation here says that interpretations vary, but A-levels are definitely OK: http://www.srooster.com/?p=4 | | | Phong Le Vietnam Local time: 08:40 Vietnamese + ... What I worry is if my son has 3 A level certificate and the hospitality say he has not finished high school as they stated in their entry requirement.
