A hospital oncology unit the name of which I am translating contains the word 'repli' and I would like help in understanding it. Surely it doesn't mean 'withdrawal' or 'retreat' (common translations for it) or similar in this context?

: Ought to be some kind of fall-back // back-up // alternative unit ready in case of increased demand or the main unit becoming unavailable? // But... with some "collateral thinking" the intended meaning **can** be deciphered with reasonable certainty.

: Where do you get post ICU for oncology??? Quite different from neurology.

After a surgical intervention on a tumor? Or when a terminal cancer patient is permanently on pain-killers? You see any better parallel / analogy? Apart from guessing based on the general context-free meaning of "repli"?

But this "Unité De Repli" seems to be in regular use, so THAT meaning of "... de repli" wouldn't make sense in this ST.
So far, what would make sense is "repli" in the sense of "stepping back" from some more intensive / urgent care.
