Chinese to English: 影像投放系统(放映方式)Film Projection System (Projecting Methods) General field: Tech/Engineering
Translation - English Traditional projection systems typically adopt a single strip projection method which merges two stereoscopic images after filtration (The merger of two images). The trade-off of this method is the inevitable color distortion due to differences between the degrees of filtration during image merging or in projection brightness and chromaticity. It is extremely likely that these errors will lead to eye strain and headaches. However, such projection systems are still widely used in most domestic small entertaining movie theaters because of the relative low cost. A more advanced way of creating stereoscopic images today involves two projectors; each projecting a different set of unfiltered original images. Applying anaglyph principle, a pair of complementary color filters will be installed in the projectors, the same color filter will be applied to a corresponding lens of the 3D glasses. This ensures that the degree of color filtration of the projector is identical to that of the lens to eliminate drawbacks of the old system.
English to Chinese: Annie General field: Medical
Source text - English Annie has made excellent progress with fine motor skills this past year.
Her challenge continues to be in visual focusing and her natural inclination is to look away from objects while reaching or interacting with them.
She does better when objects are placed on a slant in front of her.
No hand preference is observed yet.
Bilateral hand skills:
Annie is successful with sliding beads on to a horizontal dowel.
She can hold a fat rope in 1 hand and slide a wooden ring onto the rope, but then needs help to transfer hands and push the ring down the rope.
She often tends to cover the hole with her fingers.
She can pull apart and push together large pop beads even when they are fairly tight.
She is just beginning to orient them correctly.
She is successful with pulling apart a pop tube and also can push it in very well.
Annie can pull apart linking cubes but does not always use a digital (fingertip) grasp.
She needs assistance to align them and to push together because it is difficult for her to maintain her grasp on the small block and then push at the same time.
She is able to use both hands to pull off a marker cap once she is assisted with the correct grasp position.
Grasp patterns:
Annie is successful with inserting medium cylindrical pegs into a mid-size blue foam board.
She tends to hold the pegs in a palmar grasp, usually in her right hand.
She is inconsistently successful with a small pegboard and will insert randomly, inconsistently demonstrating a lateral pincer grasp.
Annie is able to stack Duplos but does not show any interest in stacking smaller 2-inch wooden blocks.
She uses a palmar grasp pattern on the blocks and can stack 3 with light support.
Annie cannot screw/unscrew bottle caps and needs hand-over-hand assistance to keep the motion going.
She is successful with opening thin plastic lids and can reach in and pull objects out and is also able to dump them.
She can pull apart a Ziploc bag with assistance to maintain her grasp, and then independently reaches in to pull out objects.
Translation - Chinese
