Born in the capital of Turkey to a multicultural family, I grew up speaking Turkish as my mother tongue. I spent most of my childhood in İstanbul, where I perfected my mother tongue through education and acquired my second language, English, in my younger years.

I started my translation and interpreting studies at one of the best translation faculties in Turkey, Hacettepe University, and later attended master classes at UGent, where I perfected my knowledge of CAT tools. After graduating in Social Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Brussels, I started working in the media field. I work and live life to the fullest as a freelance language service provider.
