ولمن وجهت إليه اليمين أن يردها على خصمه، على أنه لا يجوز الرد إذا انصبت اليمين على واقعة لا يشترك فيها الخصمان، بل يستقل بها شخص من وجهت إليه.

| Hello Heba. I checked Al-Farouqi's. It didn't connect between the meaning and oath for both verbs (reject and refute) except if they are so in use. It is not about rejecting oath as invalid by an oath taker, it is all about a litigant declining to take and oath and at the same time requests to administer the oath to the requesting litigant. I think it is a two-way process. |
