Synonyms or near-synonyms for whole-wheat bread outside the United States (e.g. the UK) are whole-grain bread or wholemeal bread...
So when you see 'whole grain' or 'wholemeal' on a label it simply means it contains all the edible parts of the grain, either as whole grain pieces or ground up...
By now, everyone knows that whole grain flour (or wholemeal flour if you're from the UK) is generally much more nutrient-dense and healthier than regular...
