This appears in a Colombian lawsuit brought against an employer by former employees. Context:

"Entre las partes existió una relación única de trabajo que tuvo vigencia ***entre los extremos*** reconocidos por la demandada en la proforma de liquidación de prestaciones sociales para todos y cada uno de los accionantes regida por un contrato a término indefinido con XXXX."

It appears to me that "los extremos" refers to two specific dates that encompass a period of time, recognized by the person being sued in the "proforma" (form).
I have not found any reference where "extremos" refers to anything other than some form of opposite limits - extremes, as we would say in English, in its normal sense.
