Assets management
Dear KudoZers,
I am looking for the French equivalent of "shutdowns, turnaround and outages" (STO).
Here is some more context about this term:
"Shutdowns, turnaround and outages (STO) are an inevitable element of asset management, and one with the potential to have a dramatic negative impact on profits.
With only approximately 32% of projects running to schedule, it’s an area ripe for improvement – and one that savvy plant and infrastructure management teams need to give their utmost attention."
Thank you a lot for your help with this.
Best regards,
Nicolas M

The locomotive stopped on the turnaround to switch tracks.

When it comes to an acronym, if it is not only for internal use but also widely used in the business line, you should NO MORE look for the meaning(s) of each word, independently of the others, but for the logical sequence, the logical articulation between each concept/function/reality/phase described by each of the words and, above all, make sure that the version of the acronym retained corresponds to the exact proposed context.
