Hola forer@s.., tengo una duda sobre cómo traducir esta frase contenida en un documento legal. El juez escribió que las pruebas fueron presentadas "ante nuestra consideración"... ¿cómo sería en inglés? "Presented to/before us for consideration?" ¿O existe una frase que se utilice comúnmente para esto en los tribunales de EE.UU.? De veras tengo que mirar programas de tv legales. ¡Gracias!

: I like your version the best, but I'd say there's no need to use a comma here. And depending on the context, "submit" (instead of present) would be a plausible option here. Would you agree with me? | At face value? I don't understand what you mean.

Just take it at face value. Thanks for your "agree". Sorry—I've been having a good time over on a PT>EN question this morning. Yes, "submit" would be good, too.

Comment: "Thanks for your suggestion. All of them are very good, however, I liked this rendition the best. It turns out I have not heard back from the client who needed this translation, but if I end up working on it. this is what I would choose. "

: Agree, seems to be typical for Puerto Rican law.

: or simply "placed before us", or if this is one sole judge you would have to say "before me" in English

: Yes your suggestion is a term used in USA but I see nothing to indicate a reserved judgment in the asker's text; "before us/me" - nothing more
