Ejemplo:
12) Presentación del apoderado de (empresa), en foja X.
13) Presentación de la defensa de XX, por la cual se aporta libro societarios.., en foja X.
En algún otro contexto sería appearance, pero acá sería el hecho de presentar un escrito, pero no estoy segura. Desde ya muchas gracias!

Discussion
In a court, the stage of presenting arguments is known as making “submissions”. Submissions are intended to persuade the court to find in your favour. They can be oral or written.
A defence is not classified as a submission, it's a pleading.
