Procurement Support, in addition to cost estimations, will be the primary entity in MoD for cost modelling and cost analytic support. This is captured by the development and improvement of models and methodologies used to conduct cost analyses, supporting the Capability Planning process through long-term forecasts, and cost analytics support to Acquisition Committee(s), such as AGR4 or the Bid Evaluation Committee, Direct Purchase Committee or Reverse Auction Committee when assessing the Fair and Reasonable prices proposed by potential suppliers prior to award of contracts.
