In Italian these white marks or "markings" are called "marcature"
I found this definition:

BLAZE
A white mark spread over the forehead and the length of the face. If the blaze is exaggerated to cover the entire front of the face, the term ***bald face*** or "war bonnet" might be used.

Comparing the pictures I found in the following websites, I would say that "blaze" stays for "stella prolungata in basso" and "bald face" for "mascherina"
