@Paul "Forensic medicine" is "médecine légale", i.e. it is a primarily medical qualification, whereas "droit médical" is a primarily legal qualification, dealing with such things as doctors' liability and patient rights.

Lavinia: "Doctor of Medical Law" would be the generic term unless there is specific mention of forensics etc.
