Spanish term

final de arrastre

Spanish to English Other Education / Pedagogy Venezuelan university transcript abbreviations
This phrase occurs in a table of abbreviations for a college transcript:

AP: Aplazado FN: Final
DF: Diferido de Final FAJ:Final de Ajuste
EP: Excluido por Promedio FA: FINAL DE ARRASTRE
EI: Excluido por Inasistencia RE: Reconocimiento de Estudios
APRB: Aprobado EQ: Equivalencia Interinst.

My dilemma has to do with specifying the difference between "diferido de final" (in a previous KudoZ question); "final de ajuste", and "final de arrastre".

As always, a thousand thanks!

already looked them up I looked up the WordReference posts before posting this question. There were so many conflicting opinions that I thought I would post here for more focused results.

I guess... Venezuela is "otro mundo", but "arrastre" sounds like it has something to do with resits, in the sense of something carried over from a previous academic period.
