I am a native Korean and a full-time translator and reviewer for English-Korean and Korean-English translation and software localization.
I had worked for GM Korea as a senior research engineer for 12.5 years. It helped high quality translation based on good knowledge of engineering, automotive, software, and various high-tech fields. I have translated for three years in marketing, business including the fields I mentioned above.
I have used TRADOS, TRADOS Studio, SDLX, Passolo and Wordfast as CAT tools since I had translation jobs.
I use easy-to-understand and field-specific terms, and I spend more time to find appropriate terms willingly, if necessary. I also fully understand how important meeting the deadline is.
