I speak 3 languages -- English, Fijian and Tongan. I have worked and lived in Fiji and Tonga and now currently reside in the UK. I have been translating for more than 10 years but officially as a paid vocation since 2010. I have been a Freelancer for the last 14 years, and have gained a lot of experience doing this work. I do not use any software for translation projects as I find that things usually get lost in translation when this happens - therefore I translate word for word, sentence for sentence, paragraph for paragraph and in doing so - protect the integrity of the document. I recently completed a Masters in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) specialising in English for Academic Purposes.
