Fuel
Never remove the fuel tank cap (9) lllust. 2
or fill the fuel tank, when the engine is
running, or is hot, or, when near an open
flame. Do not smoke or use an oil lantern, when working
around inflammable fuels.
Be sure fuel tank is full. Fill the tank at the end of each
day's operation to reduce condensation of moisture.
Always use clean Diesel fuel, which is preferably strained
through a filter screen or linen cloth.
The fuel gauge on the instrument panel shows the fuel
supply available in the tank.
If the fuel tank has been allowed to run empty it is
necessary to vent the system after refilling.
