Since its inception in 2012, Giving Tuesday has been celebrated across the globe as a day to give back: whether it be through donations, fundraising, volunteering your time and expertise, or simply by calling others to support a particular cause or initiative.
ProZ.com is pleased to host the Giving Tuesday Virtual Event to raise funds for World Education. It is dedicated to improving the lives of the poor through education and social and economic development programs. Founded in 1951 to meet the needs of the educationally disadvantaged, World Education has worked in over 50 countries throughout the world.
This #GivingTuesday is free to attend, but we ask attendees to contribute/donate to the Giving Tuesday drive efforts which will be matched dollar for dollar by ProZ.com up to $2,500.

On December 3rd, join the virtual event with presentations hosted by the language professionals:
Presentations will be of interest to translators and interpreters and deal with best practices of working [not over-working] as a freelancer; we will also talk about working from home vs. digital nomad; attendees will get an overview of translation project management and have an opportunity to learn why it is important for freelancers. Special attention will be paid to customer service.
